씨엘씨Cheshire i use audacity. I use the official instrumental to remove the instrument from the song.

@@CElkie I use a much more complicated technique yet much clearer.
I use Fruity Stereo Shaper to remove the instrumentals, then use Fruity Parametric EQ2 to remove the leftover frequency (which is the inst.)
Then use a Fruity Reeverb 2 to add reverb and fill the blanks, also good way to conceal instrumentals more.
