AFN41 thanks for making these clips it is really good to see roads being built and repair by local contractors. Just shows that Jamaicans have the capacity to engineer and upgrade the countries infrastructure.
I do remember how narrow and dangerous this road was in the late 70's and early 80's I left Jamdown in 82 so it's nice to see all the progress taking place.

Soursop turn to chapletn. First I must the roads are clean and beautiful. The engineers who had built this road and widen it had done a good job. Continue with the good work. The community needs some more development along the roads sides. It will be an improvement for the people and the community. At chapleton they need to put some more mordern buildings in the town. I liked Bob's marley songs .He is my favourite artist. Thank you for showing the people all these places.

@Malvin Cohen typical comrade you are! Contrary to some of your beliefs, Jamaica doesn't belong to any political party. Tell us dear comrade,if the PNP was so good, how come our economy wasn't the envy of the Caribbean? Do explain our low economic development in the last 25 + years? Explain why they lost the last election when they were predicted and favored to win. No one political party built this country. Whether you want to admit it or not but most of Jamaica's economic growth took place under the JLP! Those are facts, look it up if you dare and want the truth. Numbers don't lie!!

Devin James get your facts together all these road works taking place in Jamaica come under Major infrastructure development programme started by the previous government. This road works started in 2014 when Portia Simpson Miller was prime minister. The funds that started this road way came from OPEC

    • @waynemcfarlane1233

Devin James the funding from OPEC is a grant and the road projects in junction st mary funding is from KUWAITI $200 million U.S. dollars. To all a you labourite this road project started 2014 when Portia Simpson Miller was prime minister ok and the funding for this project came from OPEC. Like the rest of you Jamaican that listen to hear say and gossip go to National Works Agency website and research it for yourself. All those infrastructure projects taking place in Jamaica come under Major infrastructure development programme MIDP started by the previous government. Mike Henry and the former finance minister Audley Shaw couldn't even calculate the cost of each project 😜😜😂😂 The previous government plan is to open up North South corridor to make it easier and safer for those heavy duty trucks and tractors trailer like mackfield to ferris in Westmoreland, Junction improvements project in st Mary the first stage started the plan is to carry this road to stone hill it's going to take a lot of money and the previous government get the funding for this project from Kuwaiti $200 million usd
