I am so delighted to say that I now own this extraordinary piece of furniture. It is DEFINITELY the center of attention in my home! Also, I was privileged to be able to attend Annie Sloan's Big Paint Weekend in New Orleans this past weekend. It was such a pleasure to meet Kacha in person. She and Carlos are truly two of the nicest people I have ever met. I learned so much from attending this event from all the artists who were there. If you ever get the chance to go to one of these events, do yourself a favor and go! Well, I'm going back to admire my beautiful buffet some more!

You inspired me to pick up a brush and start my own creative journey. Last fall we relocated and I am anxiously waiting until I have room to set up a work area and get started. We are totally redoing a sad, neglected house...but I hope by December I will have the work space I need. Keep up the good work.

This little diva is stunningly gorgeous. When you started dry brushing the black I thought "what is she doing? 😱" but, once it was finished, I realised you really are a genius. The black really finishes it off and gives it substance.
