I read Ferrantes' book and it was great!! Humble Guy who doesnt overplay his position and just tells the truth. NEVER RATTED changed names in the book. His show was dope too!!

Louis you speak eloquently and articulate well. After a hour into the interview hearing you never read a book to now is a Beautiful transformation. I myself had a Love for reading as a kid. You don't have to be formally educated to be intelligent 🙏🏼
Stand up guy. Everyone who who’s into the mob genre needs to look more into this guy like I have been doing. My outlook has changed completely on what I knew about the mafia. Listen to what he says about Sammy makes you really wonder.
When you think of it, he was one the first one to talk about the mafia in terms of the life. I remember being a teenager in 2012 when he went and talked about the mafia and done documentary’s. I think he should have a TH-cam channel and he would be really successful
Yeah. He was out before all this blew up with Franzese and Gravano etc. But then he kind of disappeared again until now. Guess it was when his last book came out that he hit the scene last time, and then he disappeared to spend seven years writing this one.
This guy is one of the most interesting guy’s I’ve seen on mobtube 💯…It’s nice to hear a different story and not the same 4 people telling the same old stories over and over again I really enjoyed listening to this podcast

What a guy and what a watch. I really do like this guy. He's a rare stand up guy from that life who came out the other side after staying solid!!! I wish louis all the luck and the happiness in the world and his future endeavours! 🤝🙏💯
I think the part about educating himself in prison was very interesting. Many prisoners are illiterate and it doesn’t matter if you are in for a month or 30 years you can use that time to learn and better yourself and this guy came out and made a credible interesting life for himself.
This is sorta off topic but it reminds me of freeway Rick Ross….he was illiterate and got thrown away for life. But learned to read just so he could study and understand his case (after he was locked up)…..but in reading about his case he realized the Feds weren’t fair with him and he argued it legally In summary they hammered him under the 3 strikes law but he had only been arrested that one time……he studied cases all over the country and realized everyone else who got hammered like that had 3 separate arrests….where as he had ONE arrest with 3 crimes at the same time It’s just an inspirational story cause he could’ve curled up and taken defeat but he taught himself to read then started studying law….then presented his case It’s cool to think about that much evolution in 1 life span
27:42 "I didn't know those people existed because I wasn't like them." I know what you mean. It wasn't until my late 30s that I realized how different I am from those around me. I'd die for them, and they couldn't care less.
A very interesting human being looks like a stand up guy , good guy. Telling stories very interestingly and passionately, big up 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, Vlad Get him again super interesting
He explains in the beginning ,he was getting extorted by one of the 5 families ,as was any big time crook that was not a member of one of the families. He was paying them protection tax ,it was one of the rackets the mob used to run in that period in NY. He says the mob was to him like IRS to a legitimate businessman.
Jimmy Coonan and Ronnie G are his “dear dear friends”…. They probably discussed whether to give him his Bonanno button or make him the leader of the Westies…. I’m sure it was a very difficult decision.
“Give him a bowl of soup” “cut his head off and roll it down a bowling alley” “I’m going to Dante’s Inferno” This guy is so funny, he had me dead the whole interview 😂😂

Vlad gets good guests usually, and some have good content. But the “ok”’s from vlad throughout the clip are so off putting. Maybe try harder in generating follow up questions or comments….?
I don't understand what he's talking about when he says Joe Butch knew that Sammy was a rat. Sammy didn't rat until after Gotti, Sammy, and Frank Locascio were arrested and Sammy heard the things Gotti said about him from the FBI wiretaps. So what is he talking about?

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ferrante. He’s extremely personal and an absolute gentleman.
Like this guy. Humility, repentance…Seems a true gentleman. Respect
He's really a true gentleman lol
This guy knows what hes talking about. He's not faking it. He doesn't act so big and just tries to explain it as professional as he is.

True, but Louis Ferrante is an anomaly: a Committed Criminal, who DIDNT rat....AND turned his life around...

Seeing how ferrante accepted his sentence and trajectory, his rather intuitive incline with business defined his occupational role towards capital.
