I missed this incredible speech by Djokovic on that occasion. Wise words and a great example of will power and determination for the new generations. I had the pleasure of watching Djokovic play in Shanghai in 2008, when he had only one major Slam, I really admired his game and felt that he had a bright future ahead!
When I witnessed his quick rise to the top 3 in 2007 and then that barnstorming run to the Australian Open 2008 title for his first slam... I knew he was made of something different. Something very special that, if he kept up the trajectory that he'd surpass Nadal and Federer eventually. Well, not only did he do that, he achieved even more than what my wildest dreams depicted. He is one special athlete and will go down as one of the greatest athletes of all time, not just the greatest achieving tennis athlete of all time.
This incredible Serbinator has owned three generation of players which has never happened in any sport's history. The sobriquet of GOAT is condescending for his status; he is GAAT - Greatest Athelete of all time.
I’ve followed him since 2007 when I wasn’t sure how to pronounce his name. And he has never failed to make a great impression and as years went by and he won more and more I’ve come to admire him and a role model of how to take care of yourself, set goals and work hard to achieve it.

I missed this incredible speech by Djokovic on that occasion. Wise words and a great example of will power and determination for the new generations. I had the pleasure of watching Djokovic play in Shanghai in 2008, when he had only one major Slam, I really admired his game and felt that he had a bright future ahead!

When I witnessed his quick rise to the top 3 in 2007 and then that barnstorming run to the Australian Open 2008 title for his first slam... I knew he was made of something different. Something very special that, if he kept up the trajectory that he'd surpass Nadal and Federer eventually. Well, not only did he do that, he achieved even more than what my wildest dreams depicted. He is one special athlete and will go down as one of the greatest athletes of all time, not just the greatest achieving tennis athlete of all time.
