“I’m with my partner 17 years and we’re not classed as a family”

No you don't need anyone in government to tell you if you're a family, but unfortunately people like him need some ##### in government to tell them everything, that probably includes when to exhale and which shoe to put on first.

@@AC-ib3jj apparently it wasn’t a low turnout? I think there’s a gathering movement in Ireland of people who will always turn out. The country's leadership has lost its moral compass as with the nation. I am proud to be Irish and to belong to a people who have the moral courage to stand up for deeply held beliefs and values of the family as defined by divine law and natural order as ordained by God our creator of whom we were created to love and serve first and foremost in the sacrament of marriage out of respect to the creator, self and the other. This referendum was a botched and rushed attempt of a few to force upon us destroy the very essence of what constitutes the natural family and union between a man and woman with the creator and for the blessing of children born into that union through marriage in communion with the Divine Creator. To each is given free will by the Divine creator to follow the path of Good or Evil (sin). The creator loves each person unconditionally but warns of the dangers and consequences of sin in our relationship with God, self and one another. Breakdown in nations, communities and families occur when the only durable relationship can ever be one held by each individual with the Divine creator from which all that is Good is given.

if it was done properly and was legaly sound with the right wording to include and protect mothers but also habe ad a second article for other kinds of familys i likely would have been a yes voter but it wasnt so im a no plus the motivation of the goverment pushing this through in such a way seems odd trust for this goverment and the main parties is at a all time low.

Yeah, it was good for me and my family, but these activists say it’s bad, so I’ll agree!
Wtf. Quit being so weak. What is happening, why are older generations of men so scared to stand up for society.

Seriously ??? Saying I'm with my partner for 17 years and we're not classed as a family, and using that to justify voting yes !!!!! He clearly needs to educate himself on the actual proposed changes to the constitution and the implication of those changes 😅

Put the greater good ahead of your single mindedness, the proposal was woke she-ite, nothing to do with Roderick or leo doing a good turn for you and your partner

The constitution needs to be respected. Stop messing with it, you want to be recognised same as marriage then cohabitation laws do that. Want single mothers to be recognised; they already are through the children’s referendum, this nonsense of butchering the constitution needs to stop. Children in schools need to be educated on the constitution, it is the people’s constitution
