I hated Masvidal but it was the good kind of ''hate''. The kind that made me tune in on all his fights and press conferences. Dude knew how to trigger little fan boys like me and make money in the process.
He deserves props for the reinvention but at the end of the day he just beat up Till and Askren who were being overrated, stole their hype, busted open an old and crinkly Nate and then lost to all the top level competition and retired lol. Jorge was happy to sucker punch Leon way back to build his image but he never pursued that fight bc on some level he knew Edwards would've battered him.
