If you find yourself with too many toy items not around Christmas time you can usually donate them to the hospital for the children’s wing. My son was in the hospital and during his stay they played games over the TV and called in with their answers and after the games were done a nurse came around with a cart of toys to pick prizes! That Morph stuff would be perfect! Small Lego sets are great too 😊
You can buy the calender inserts for the binders for that year. You can make giant snow globes with the trees and parts from the DIY. Christmas sets. They have really big clear Christmas bulbs. They come apart in the middle, you make your scene then glue the top back on, Obviously you can't shake it. Its just for show.
I am thrilled for you all getting this stuff. I had never heard about these grab bags until last year. Went with great excitement to my Michael's and they had a few ripped plastic bags for the $5. You could clearly see what was in the bags and they were not worth $5, maybe $2. I got better deals picking thru the clearance. When I saw some of the awesome items everyone was getting... I admit it, I was jealous. I got over it though, and am thrilled that some of you are able to get great stuff like this for such a reasonable amount and share with us who cannot. This year, my store never made it to an aisle of clearance, just a rolling stack bin at the door! So not even going to look for the grab bags, much less boxes. Thank you for sharing.
It really is a gamble with them. I was surprised my store did not have them but luckily the one 15 mins away did. They had so many boxes. My dad said his was the same with so many. But I think every area does them differently. I've seen alot of videos now on them. I hope you have better luck next time.
The last time I saw the grab bags at Michael's, I looked through the box and nothing I would use. Your boxes had great items. That yarn would be a great garland for an 1980's party. Neon!
Thankyou for showing us. You could glue the red beads plus some other things, like maybe some of the 'berries' & other beads to some of the green decorative trees to make individually decorated trees & sell them next christmas as unique, hand crafted, items.
the yarn makes really good scrubbing squares for dishwashing. I put regular yarn and the fritzy yard together and it scratches foiod off of dishes, and its fun for hair for dolls, crazyhair.
So I paid 99 dollars for an artificial Christmas tree, so it is now a 365 year tree. I am using the clear bulbs form Michael's and filling them with red, what and pink beads for valentines day, pink, yellow blue and green pastels beads for Easter, red, what and blue for the fourth of July. You get my drift.
the yarn looking ball with no price 4.00 and make a square out of it to wash dishes i just love mine....i used a popcorn stitch to add a little grip to it have fun

It’s amazing to see what you get in your boxes. We don’t have one half the products you show. I’m a crafter and I’m in Michael’s a lot . Those beads, signs, art set, and the put together foam kits are all different at my store. I guess products sell better in different parts of the states. Also our stores were closed so buying on line I guess we missed a lot. You did great I’m sure you’ll make your $ back and then some.. Great video 🤗👍

alas here in Australia we don't have Michaels stores...the closest equivalent might be Spotlight/Lincraft...as far as I'm aware neither of these stores do this sort of thing sadly, though do tend to have mobile shelving that they'll place their marked down stuff on...oh, and the yarn in the first box is called scrubby yarn....you use it to crochet scrubby pads to wash dishes with or even your body..
I'm sorry you don't get those there. It really is an amazing deal. But it's always a mystery so never know what you are going to get. I've heard that about that yarn. I'm going to give it to my aunt.

I don’t know lol 😂 I would also make those fun looking DIY’s! I love this haul. Black and white plaid wired ribbon you could use in may be create a wreath or something like that. 🤷🏼♀️ Much love 💖💖💖

I can't knit but I'd learn just to make a scarf with the rainbow wool/yarn and turn all the wooden plaques into something special for home decor. I've been buzzing with ideas watching. Lol 😅 I'm always in the pound shops (dollar store) over here in the uk when they have sales and I buy up literally ANYTHING that I know I can turn into something stunning for myself/family/friends and also sell some of my pieces along with cards that I mainly make. It's great therapy!!! 👍
Even with these boxes Michael’s throws out so much stuff: I dumpster dive and the amount of Christmas stuff that was brand new in their dumpsters is insane. I just picked up a huge bag of ribbon and I didn’t even make a dent of what was in the dumpster
It is legal here in Minnesots and in all the cities I go to. But you just have to look up the laws for your town. I just don’t go in dumpsters with no tresspassing signs. But I find such an incredible amount of stuff, I just can’t take it all
@@TheCheapChick im pretty sure anything they throw away they get back at tax time or something. They are definitely getting thier money from it im sure. I also dumpster dive and the amount of stuff that stores will throw away is nuts...alot of stores will destroy the product before they throw it away so none else can use it.

I bought 1 bag this year but still has great deals inside. They just did a grab bag in regular paper bag this year instead of boxes. They still have some bags left in my area. If it were boxes i would've bought more
The Michaels close to me in California have the paper bags. I'm not sure with the other stores around the area coz they were all gone when i got there. Btw, new subscriber here 😊
I saw the morph stuff today still on clearance in front of my store today. I did in-store video of boxes and what large items they put 5.00 tags on ..will upload what I get
I have never been able to buy a grab bag from Michael’s. They don’t know when they go on sale and there is a limited quantity. I stopped today and total they only had 48 and sold out in under 4 hrs.
So if you follow the freebie guy on Instagram he always gives the heads up in his stories. Plus other awesome deals. I prob should have posted a community post about it. I'll try to remember next time to warn everyone
If you call michaels the manager will tell you when thry will be put out. I work at michaels and we always know when they go out on the floor. We know almost a month in advance

You just pulled out the mini Christmas 🎄 u could glue them to the bottom of the big clear Ornaments you found in the first box and buy a little bag of fake snow they probably still have some at dollar tree and some little snowman or deer or Santa are people even have the little trucks in campers well those are probably couldn’t get in that little opening but but

You can use the planner as a sketch pad or for gluing in. My dds use the outdated ones to make collages in or to paint over.

I can't knit but I'd learn just to make a scarf with the rainbow wool/yarn and turn all the wooden plaques into something special for home decor. I've been buzzing with ideas watching. Lol 😅 I'm always in the pound shops (dollar store) over here in the uk when they have sales and I buy up literally ANYTHING that I know I can turn into something stunning for myself/family/friends and also sell some of my pieces along with cards that I mainly make. It's great therapy!!! 👍

Even with these boxes Michael’s throws out so much stuff: I dumpster dive and the amount of Christmas stuff that was brand new in their dumpsters is insane. I just picked up a huge bag of ribbon and I didn’t even make a dent of what was in the dumpster
That really is so crazy. Not sure why they would not want to make some money off it instead of nothing.
Can you get in trouble for doing that? That’s a great idea though and I bet they have tons of stuff!
It is legal here in Minnesots and in all the cities I go to. But you just have to look up the laws for your town. I just don’t go in dumpsters with no tresspassing signs. But I find such an incredible amount of stuff, I just can’t take it all
@@TheCheapChick im pretty sure anything they throw away they get back at tax time or something. They are definitely getting thier money from it im sure. I also dumpster dive and the amount of stuff that stores will throw away is nuts...alot of stores will destroy the product before they throw it away so none else can use it.

I bought 1 bag this year but still has great deals inside. They just did a grab bag in regular paper bag this year instead of boxes. They still have some bags left in my area. If it were boxes i would've bought more

You can use a roll of ribbon to wrap around your Christmas tree as a garland.
I've seen some people do that. Plus in garland and wreaths.

I have never been able to buy a grab bag from Michael’s. They don’t know when they go on sale and there is a limited quantity. I stopped today and total they only had 48 and sold out in under 4 hrs.

If you call michaels the manager will tell you when thry will be put out. I work at michaels and we always know when they go out on the floor. We know almost a month in advance

You just pulled out the mini Christmas 🎄 u could glue them to the bottom of the big clear Ornaments you found in the first box and buy a little bag of fake snow they probably still have some at dollar tree and some little snowman or deer or Santa are people even have the little trucks in campers well those are probably couldn’t get in that little opening but but

It really is always a gamble what you are gonna get. But I find if you go late the seasoned buyers get the good stuff.
