I am a baby girl in a 4 generations casual photo with my father, grandfather and great grandfather, but the one of those ladies is just so beautiful! It is so creatively composed by clearly a professional photographer.
Wow.. that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing!
The face of that young boy in the picture at 3:03 was used in the opening credits of the incredible world war 2 documentary series the world at war .
yep...beat me to it 👍
Fascinating. Thank you, Mark 😊
Nice photos and nice music
Thank you .. glad you enjoyed them 🤗
That was wonderful uk
As Alan Shepard's historic spaceflight was expected to last only 15 minutes he didn't bother to go to the bathroom beforehand. This proved a big issue as the flight was delayed on the launch pad for hours. He had no choice but to go in his spacesuit.
LOL you learn something new every day!
At the time, the spacesuit was not designed for such use and they were worried if he did go it would short the electrics and cause a massive hazard ..they actually suggested taking him out and putting him back in … that would’ve resulted in a complete reset and massive further delay … After much discussion and with great trepidation, they gave him clearance to pee in his suit 😂
London calling. It's very refreshing to have a piano playing . I sometimes think they are hearing it, too .
Glad you enjoy it ... Thank you :)
Love the music!!
Thank you … much appreciated 👍🏻
The Arc de Triomphe repair men - one of those 'nope!' situations. Really liked the engineering of the Eiffel Tower foundations.
VERY Nope !
The child at war photo is on the opening credits to the t.v.series A World at War. Easily available on here
Seeing Mae Questal as a young woman is a reminder of how we age if you have seen her as aunt Mae in National Lampoons Christmas vacation starring Chevy Chase
I was unaware of that … had to look it up. It was apparently her last film role … Thank you for sharing 👍🏻
Love the music
Thank you very much 👍🏻
Can I use your photos for my history class project? Thank you for your amazing work!
The first picture is what was refured to has hard labour
The music suits the scenes
The photo at 3:06 was used in the opening credits of World at War. It's not impossible he's still alive.
I was not aware of that and I've watched the entire series. It's been quite a while though. Thank you for sharing
No disrespect to a real soldier, but the 4ft 9in war hero reminds me of "Bob" in Blackadder 2
I am sure I have seen this compilation before?!
You are an observant viewer 👍🏻 … Quite a few of these photos were in a video from a year ago. But, the algorithm didn’t pick it up and very few people saw it. You must’ve been one of the only ones who did… 😂 So, I thought I’d re-work it and give it another try … Already had three times more views in 2 hours than it had in one year … so I’m glad that I did 🤗
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos I'm glad you did too! Only one or two looked familiar to me. :)
All those hours on the stair treadmill would have given them great calf muscles
