I do have a tip for you:
When you draw there are two things that help me draw better, and ine is that when you use a reference picture, sometimes it helps to get a photo of the basics of the drawing, so that you understand where to start. And 2, make sure to draw lightly so if you make a mistake you can erase easily, and when you find the design you like then you can bold over the lines. Hope this helps! ❤🙃
Also take a few breaks , get a drink and a snack it really helps me

Take a whole break especially when you're having art block and there's nothing you can do about it just eat food bc it helps and go back to drawing

Few tips I’ve picked up ,
1:do your sketch really light so it’s easy to erase
2:don’t use sharpies for line art they tend to bleed
3:use 2b pencils
4: don’t go in with expectations just have something ruff in your mind and interpret and adapt it to yourself if your just starting out
And lastly keep Any old work in a folder and when you feel down about your art look at the folder and see how far you have come it should really cheer you up

The last tip is really helpful lol, I do that
Few tips: 1) Always press lightly when you begin so then you can erase the lines more easily. 2) You may want to look for a reference because it would help with proportions. 3) Always practice. I'm guessing a lot of people say that, but practicing really helps. And when you practice a lot you slowly learn things. 4) Those little smudges on your drawing you can avoid by putting a piece of paper or paper towel underneath your drawing hand. 5) If you ever feel like you don't know how to do it, just start with one line and then begin another. 6) There is no wrong pencil. It's just people's preferences. Though I do recommend making sure your pencil is sharp. Love you channel

Kass, even as an artist I still don’t know how they do it in one take, you’re not alone. Also a few recommendations: if you press lightly with your pencil when drawing it’ll be easier to erase later if you need to change something. Going off that: your eraser is the greatest tool you have, so don’t be afraid to use it if something doesn’t look quite right :). The last thing is *use a reference*, they help so so much with basically everything; and it’ll be a lot harder to draw from memory if you’re just starting out. Best of luck, and I hope you keep drawing!

Kassie really isn’t doing too bad. I’ve been drawing for years nonstop, and Kassie is doing really well just starting to draw again, especially if she’s as much of a beginner as she says.

Tip: Sketch very lightly and fluidly so can erase easier and u can't see the sketch after erasing. It's okay for the sketch to have lots of random line and it be messy!

massive easy tip to prevent the led transferring onto the paper: keep a piece of paper under your hand as you draw, or keep hand sanitizer nearby because it gets rid of the led fast and quick without having to get up and wash your hands

Also, as someone who is right-handed, I can say that when I draw with pencil, it still gets all over my hand and smudges, so there’s really no way to avoid it unless you can hold a pencil without touching the paper or you draw perfectly from left to right/right to left.

I use a glove that’s supposed to be used for digital drawing... so basically a glove that only covers your wrists, ring finger, and pinky finger

Always do a sketch before you draw, it makes the anatomy/body look much better, drawing circles is the key to everything. Just try drawing circles first lightly, and then you trace over it but make it look normal.

I read books and paint and that sounds a bit over-exagerated cause it sounds unhealthy and bad for your health.

Hey Kassie, when drawing i recommend sketching lightly first so you can erase your lines if you need to. When drawing the shapes, it helps to block out the body and make it easier to have proportions right, when I draw I draw lightly with pencil then I use a line art pen over the top, once you finish line art you use an eraser to rub out the pencil lines but you have to erase it lightly so you don't smudge the pen lines, after there isn't any pencil lines you can go in with colours. But for a first in years I think it's amazing :)

@@juliab1391 You can usually get one in most art stores,or online in places like Amazon or even ebay.If that isn't accessible to you, you can find line art pens(like a 3 pack of sakura microns)at Wal-Mart in store or online or even just use a regular pen from somewhere like dollar tree will suffice.:D

Julia B I live in uk so their are lots of shops that sell line art pens but online shopping I recommend getting the Sakura Pigma Micron line pet set which comes with a white pen for doing white details and 5 liners in all different sizes but prices range from very low to very high I prefer the more expensive ones as they last longer and are better quality :)
