I saw JOE IN THE 80'S PLAYING WITH THE ORIGINAL PROJECT! All I can say is WOW! EVERYTHI FROM THE PROJECT'S first album! One of my ALL TIME FAVORITE CONCERTS! Grand Rapids Michigan....GREAT NORTHERN MUSIC HALL!!!
Can we take a moment to acknowledge just how talented Hagen is?? Singing Ralph Morman’s vocals is NO easy task and he makes it sound easy!! Amazing work Hagen, my friend!!💖💖
@@javiermoretti1825And Joe sells 100 times as many records as either of those guys. He plays to huuuuge audiences with his choice of band mates. The world is full of super techy, music theory guys who have all the charisma of a wooden plank. This is a rock star who gets people off their asses and into the party.
Hard to believe that Joe Perry was working as a Fry Cook when Steven Tyler talked him into joining up and starting a band. And thank God and our ears he did. 50+ years later, I'd say it all worked out for the best.
Summer Jam 2, Chicago, Soldiers Field, 1978. Frank Marino & Mohagany Rush, AC/DC (with BON SCOTT!), Fkn Foreigner and Aerosmith headlined it!!! I was there, blowin J's and air guitarring the entire concert!!!
I read his 1980 debut solo album was recorded in part to pay off an $80,000 room service bill Perry had racked up during the band's Draw the Line tour in 1978. This song was remade for Aerosmith's 1985 album Done with Mirrors, the first with the original lineup since 1979's Night in the Ruts (Perry left the band in the middle of that album's recording sessions) and the band's first for Geffen Records. But while it fared even worse in sales than 1982's Rock in a Hard Place did, it did show that the original quintet was back and here to stay.
Fhuck me, about shjit myself... Thought that was Josh Todd @ :30 when first walked out on stage... Then I really lost it when I thought it was Denis Leary!! I gotta go pour me another drink...
I've always liked the original Joe Perry project version better. Don't get me wrong I love Aerosmith's version but people need to remember if I'm not mistaken this was a basically a big fuck you to Aerosmith after they'd split for a while. I still remember seeing commercials on TV after they got back together with first Stephen introducing himself and then Joe and then them both saying at the same time from the same band!
Not sure who the other guitar player is but Dave Hull is in bass. He was in the original JPP. Marty Richards is on drums. Two of my most favorite musicians to work with.
@Official Joe Perry 😅 Joe 😁 i still have ur email if that u were u 😄. Let me know if it is 🤘😎 n u know i won’t n been at the concerts on TH-cam too. C me there or watch n u’ll c me 🔥🖤🔥✨🎸
Best version of this song I've heard live, since the original lineup. But you are missing my uncle Ronnie on drums. That kid did do a damn good job but not the same. But the singer is as close to Ralph there is 🤘🤘
How is love Joe and the in the Joe Perry project but he's never been able to find another singer that was worth a s*** a s*** I never cared for this guy I didn't like Gary cherone I still don't I think he needs to go and find some young guy that can freaking sing in a bar somewhere instead of trying to pull a rabbit out of his hat

Me too, when I was 16. I was at some club in Leicester Ma. Had to be '84
I love all the variations of Joe Perry project. Plus WHITFORD and st Holmes!
Great stuff! Plus Tyler's side projects! All these men are sooo talented!
Can we take a moment to acknowledge just how talented Hagen is?? Singing Ralph Morman’s vocals is NO easy task and he makes it sound easy!! Amazing work Hagen, my friend!!💖💖
I would have loved to have had a shot singing with Joe! John Levesque singer TH-cam
But I guess Gary gets all the gigs including his little thing with Van Halen. Man why didn't he get you again.?¿¿
Hell yeah! Hagen killing it. 😊
I don't know. Something about his voice just doesn't do it for me.
Look at all those Amazing Stage Monitors.... LUV the PERRY BaBY !!😁👍👍
“I’ve Got The Rock ‘n’ Rolls Again” LP with Charles Farren singing 👍🏿👍🏿
After all these years....The Joe Perry Project .... Still JAMS !!!!
Hell yeah, love the first 3 JPP albums!
🤘😜🤘
What. S/T, Get Your Wings, & Toys In The Attic ??? LMFAO
Joe Perry is one of the best ever guitarist of our time he can rock that guitar to death
@Official Joe Perry thankyou Joe I appreciate great music and great musicians and you are definitely the one
Joe is not the best guitarist, but he has a big personality...
It's a very competent blues-based guitarist. He's good for what Aerosmith does. However, he pales compares to a Joe Satriani and Tony MacAlpine.

Dont forget Bradley Ernest Whitford in other words.... Brad Whitford Aerosmith co guitarist. Awesome player too.
Loved it first released and now!
Amazing song, Joe 😍🤟🏼
I bought this album on vinyl when it came out. I still have it.

ジョー・ペリーの格好良さには年甲斐も無く憧れますな~😅

He sings like a fry cook.
I like the perry project version better than the Aerosmith version on Done with Mirrors!!!!!!
let the music do the art🌹
@Official Joe Perry never I will stop the Music. Music is in my Life❤️🌹❤️
How enjoyable. There was much anticipation going in to '80.
I always let the music do the talking 🎶🎤🎶🎸

Good singer
Looks like John Waite from The Babys.
I loved the JPP. It was a second wind after the Aerosmith difficult period
Dave Hull and Marty Richards might be the best rhythm section in rock and roll.
I saw joe do this live back in the early 80’s in a old theater on division ave in Grand Rapids’ Mi
Great Northern MUSIC Hall.
Fantastic!
That was the GREAT NORTHERN MUSIC HALL.
What theater !!!!
The guy is a star unto himself.
Where city was this filmed in? I saw this tour at the House of Blues in Las Vegas
This vocalist should sing on Joes next solo album which should be on COLUMBIA Records!!!!!
❤

Fhuck me, about shjit myself... Thought that was Josh Todd @ :30 when first walked out on stage... Then I really lost it when I thought it was Denis Leary!! I gotta go pour me another drink...

As someone used to the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith version, this is actually really good.
yeah, it's great. my favorite version is on Classics Live II ..so HEAVY and METAL!!!
I've always liked the original Joe Perry project version better. Waiting for MK to sing this if he's paying attention
Dude is made of rock 'n roll
Hey, I got a idea, slow it down a little, grunge style 😎
Best version of this song I've heard live, since the original lineup. But you are missing my uncle Ronnie on drums. That kid did do a damn good job but not the same. But the singer is as close to Ralph there is 🤘🤘
Ronnie Stewart is an awesome drummer.
*👍супер и привет от тренера по футболу1*
More cowbell.
And then Tyler wrecked it on Done With Mirrors by changing the lyrics and screaming over the whole thing
Not Really....it still ROCKED !!!
Joe "Pet" Petroccelli should be on the drums
Surprisingly bad choice for vocalist helped sink this project.
Fuk lol
This is Joe's original version. I like Tyler's version a lot better. To be fair is hard for any singer to top ST. This guy is really good.
Maybe it's me? Way better than Richards
WAY Better than the Stones IMO
Man...do something with that drum kit...can't describe how shit its sounds..
crap sound crap club 333👿👿👿💥😝
La voz de s tayler es mejor
THERE WAS NO BETTER SINGER AROUND....
He's out of tune
put your god damn phones down and just rock!
AWESOME!!!!
I have the Album.
