I'm a host in a major city in the USA. I do not accept inquiries requesting discounts. So, like you, I pay the price. This time in Mexico, I am doing an impromptu trip. My wife has to go abroad for a month. And I decided to take 10 days for a quick, easy trip. I don't care necessarily about being in hot neighborhoods like Condesa or Roma. And I don't need the height of luxury, which I would opt for if it were a spouse vacation. But I am looking in reviews very specifically for hosts that are known to be very responsive. Because I want to ask about specific things that I want to find in the city--services, goods--that a local will know immediately off the top of their head. I find that there is a certain kind of host who ill bend over backwards to answer questions. I am that kind of host.
How does one start a Airbnb in Mexico? I’m sure there’s different laws than here in the US
Great tips! Thank you!!
When should you pay and how should you pay🪩?
Cool channel Phil. I'm going to check out Mexico soon and will be staying Airbnb.
Awesome! Thanks for the kind words!

How awesome! It's so great to read your perspective (which I totally agree with, by the way!) - thank you for taking the time to share.
