The great thing about Monster Hunter Online is IMHO that it is the only Monster Hunter with the highest number of Frontier Monster apart from Frontier itself. Azure Hypnocatrice, Gold Hypnocatrice, that crystal scorpion thing etc. The highlight for me is Sandstorm Basarios.
This, freaking guy, is, just like Alatreon. He uses all the elements, took on a Rathalos in a near 20 seconds, can absorb power from his chest, MERPHISTO FOR NEW ALATREON
The standard version of it makes no sense to how it can fly with such wings, if you can even call them that. Not sure about the beak too. The concept of its elements is awesome, just the design I'm not too happy about.
The original shell color reminds me of Ashen Lao-Shan Lung. How does he even fly without webbing? Do they actually get these sentences out of a slogan-maker or something?
The concept of the changing forms is nice but it looks terrible design wise. How does it even fy without wing flaps or is it just flapping its arms for fun.
It´s obviously (if one really needs some kind of explanation) invisible wing-nets that change to visible through the color of its momentary elementary buff
Wait a second. Wings that dont fully spread out at first. Glowing details on the chest. Very specific details to the monster when it powers up and has its wings fully expanded. I havent played MHO but ive just freshly beat the story of stories two so spoilers below. . . . . I wonder if the team that made stories 2 played online and had some inspiration for the razewing form we see with Zellard? Even the coloration changes make me think so!

Looks like they ran out of ideas and just mashed fatalis with alatreon.

I seen someone fight this monster and it only changed between its neutral mode (which is dragon) and its fire mode the entire time.
