Thank you for making this video. It was very encouraging watching you build this, especially since you said that you had no experience, that would help a lot of people. The shed came out incredible, congratulations.
No. I bought the cement blocks and some 4x4s to attach the base to. The instructions tell you how to do this but you’ll have to buy the parts. There are several ways to make a foundation so you could probably find a better way than me.
These are the type of videos I watch to help me buy the professional installation ordered 😀 As much as I like to do everything myself, sometimes you just have to let it go...
Thank you so much for the encouraging video! I have an 8x14 Costco shed of my own to b build. I need to have my neighbor level the ground for me with his tractor still. I don't know what I'm waiting for. Maybe it was just your video that I needed!
Ha yeah, I felt like I pushed mine off for a while too. But if you start now, you have all summer to do it… I wouldn’t recommend it but that how I did it.
@@grammarguru554 if that’s for a 10x12, that’s a killer deal! I would not think twice if you need a shed. Mines been standing for 6 months through the PNW rain and a week of 10 degrees and freezing rain (unusually cold for Portland OR) and I can report no leaks or visible issues so the quality is good.
60 hrs a week idk how you do anything besides pop a beer and sit on the couch lol. Im retired so Im going to build my 12x24 shed! thanks for the inspiration Bro@@Alexjay1234
About to tack a 12x16 shed from Costco. It's sitting in my yard stacked 2 pallets high. Thankfully it was delivered 10 feet from where I'm installing it. I start on it in November. Here we go!
@@AnOverdose420 once it’s done, it’ll worth the effort! Mine is still standing and still looking good. Good luck. Post a review of the process when you’re done. I’d like to see it.
@@Alexjay1234 I will probably not use the floor joist structure and just use it as a reference for a treated 2x6 base and use treated 3/4” flooring and use the floor material to strengthen the rest of the structure
@@stephenrountree3214 sounds good to me! Haha no idea what that means but you sound like you know what you’re doing. Post a video when you’re done. I’d like to see it!

Wow! Thank you for your kind words! I hope it does encourage someone. Thanks for watching!
Does it come with the foundation

60 hour work weeks on top of being a family man AND building this?! you def deserve a sub for sure!
I think all that was too much all at once but the shed being done is a huge weight off! And thank you for the sub!

@@huinyavaina yeah I don’t blame you. Install is a steal at the price Costco offers!
Great video 📹 😊
Love your humility and work ethic. Keep up the good work. Shed looks great.
@@Pl-nikita thank you! That was a very nice thing to say and it improved my day.
no guarantee it would be built to a higher quality....
@@xisotopex very true.

THIS is the video we needed. Ok- yes we can do this 💪🏻
Yes you can! If I can, you can!
I just ordered this exact same Costco shed! I watch this video several times a day! Thanks for posting!
Haha great to hear! You can do it! If I can do, anyone can do it! Post a video when you’re done, I’d love to see it!
How long did it take you to complete? Are you handy?
Brother did you get the floor kit aswell?
@@rocket2811 the floor kit? I’m not sure what that is. In the version I got, the floor came with the shed but you do need to buy your own foundation.
Great video, thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you!
Yardline is offering installation and shingles for 400 as long as you buy their shed through Costco
That’s a killer deal! What’s the cost on the shed and install all together?
Last I saw I believe the total was 2650. I have been tempted to buy one myself

No fun in that!
how did you learn about 400$ for install & shingles does it say on the website? or did you reach out to Yardline
I’m an installer for this company. I would have had it installed in 2 days by myself. But, good job!
Thanks!

I just bought this in 8x12’. I built a 16x22 deck and renovated a kitchen and bathrooms. Hopefully I can make it work
