I have a couple of questions. I am an American living in the uk and I had a baby shower for my little one 7 years ago. Hardly anyone showed up because it’s ’not something people do here as it’s deemed as rude and greedy’, or so I was told. So I was wondering, in the last 7 years have baby showers become more popular here? I also wanted to ask if you hosted your baby shower or if you had someone host it for you?
Hey, aw what a shame bless you! It’s really popular here nowadays and my mum organised it for me!🥰 I said to the guests they didn’t have to get any presents etc, its lovely of them just being there to celebrate, but my friends and family got baby gifts which was SO lovely of them and really didn’t have to, really a thoughtful gesture. My mum did little gifts for the guests and drinks etc to thank them for coming x
