I like that they keep changing up the way Blue looks, that way if you get all of them you can add to your army of Raptors without having duplicates.
The identical nature is (unconfirmed, but likely) Parthogenesis, where a female animal can produce a fertilized egg without a male. It's possible in some lizards, namely monitor lizards. A species of monitor lizard DNA gives Blue her stripe.
Additionally, Maisie's surname was Lockwood in the last film, but given her character arc, it might be changed to Grady or Dearing.
I like how the “Beta” could easily be swapped for a young “Blue”, also Maisie’s last name is Lockwood.
Finally Lego went from green color scheme to the proper color!
This is probably my favorite blue, I don’t know why I just.. like it.
I just got this set from a thrift store for $5 because the box was slightly crumpled. I knew immediately I had to look up Jang's review. Always excellent, cheers.
I dunno, I think the very first Blue nailed it the best, it had this nice vibrant color scheme, which in my opinion fits Lego much better than "realistic" colors.
I also think the small eyes look better

Best value set in the series. At $25 it's perfectly priced.
1:30 Velociraptor in JP actually based on Deinonychus in the first place. But it's size is similar to Utahraptor. Plus with Utahraptor was discovered around the same time that the movie was made. So people were confused and misunderstood that it was based on the Utahraptor.
I might buy this. I like blue and another ute is always good. I have the first blue which is personally my favourite but I want some more raptors for the pack.
I like the truck. A bit simplistic but still efficient. The rest of the set is okay. I do prefer that color scheme for the raptor and those long coat prints for
minifigs are a miss.
I can see why the first Blue figure was green, because the first Jurassic World has a blue colour grading filter over the whole film, tinting her green. But in Fallen Kingdom it's totally obvious she's grey.
A surprising but welcome lack of Owen.
I wasn’t planning on getting this set but when I saw that beta piece I definitely have to grab it now. Maybe when it drops to ~$24.
My fav set of this lineup. Compare this to 60319 set and you will see price point is good! (Not for US though xD)
Also jang. for 10$ you can get non articulated dino in toystores. 15$ for Blue is not a stretch nowadays.
The cool part with having 3 differently Blues is that you can choose between them all which version you want for your raptor pack/squad display.

my 2 raptors came in a separate paper bag, the other day one of the star wars battle packs was also all in paper bags over here in ireland, looks like lego is slowly starting to do what they promised
is it just me or do they make blue lighter in color every time?
As simple as the truck is, building it used weird pieces like the round plates on the inside (why not square or rectangle pieces) and some bricks only being connected by one stud.
I always wondered when they would make a colour accurate blue! Also you could use the og blue for the raptors from Jurassic Park 3.
I think the truck with figure is about 10/15, the trap with figure, beta and bike proll a 10 ish set? then atleast 10-12 for the raptor.

Actually, seating aside, I really like that truck. It has only the second realistically proportioned bed I've ever seen them come out with, and the last one had a ludicrous set of giant ramp gates where the tailgate shoulda been, and they weren't even connected to one another. It was that dually style truck that carried that set of ATV's from a few years back.

This set Costs to much but the mattel jurassic raptors are 10 bucks aswell so i can kinda see it

I think the only downsides of this set for me are the minifigs for 2 reasons: 1, of all the sets that come with a Chris Pratt, this one is unacceptable. And 2, Macy looks too old by size. Would've been better if she had the medium sized legs to represent her better.
I might just get it when it's on sale
They did shift it from more green to grey in the movies

yeah it will be better if the lego company make a better dark grey blue if theres a lego jurassic world sets in 2023 or 2024.
I guess blue is now grey because he’s getting older hence the grey feathers representing grey hair old people have. That’s just a theory

Lol even the baby raptor is larger (comparing to minifigs that is) than the real life raptor from the cretaceous era.
The lack of Chris Pratt makes the set so much more appealing
