don't sleep on chameleon with this build. swap the contractor's gloves for a fenris chest with obliterate. you don't have to wait til you have 100 striker stacks before gaining its benefit. the chameleon buffs on top of striker and obliterate send your dps astronomically high.
I forgot it, too because the Elmo is so strong on long range, but this night I tested a few striker builds with Chameleon and the DPS was awesome. I'll give it a try again today for a few missions. For open World the Elmos is best
The Striker chestpiece only works when playing solo or with other players who are much less capable than yourself. You simply can't keep the stacks up when playing in a strong group. The Ouroboros only works when up close. At ranges over 15m, you are much better-off using the St. Elmo's. That leads to a situation where you have to decide which weapon to make your primary and that forces you to decide what chestpiece to use. Many use Sokolov with the Ouroboros or Fenris with the St. Elmos. I prefer Grupo for both and I will switch my primary between the Oroboros and St. Elmo's depending on where in the Incursion I am. If time allows I will switch my secondary to use a Famas with the Ouroborus and the Lefty or Rock 'n Roll with the St. Elmo's. Going for headshots will almost ALWAYS result in lower damage numbers.

my go-to for almost everything: 4reds 2blues striker/coyote/elmo/everyday carrier+firewall for infinite firewall medkits to get me out of critical situations and allow me to push whenever i want without going down. best build in the game for me personally.
I also find running a pfe striker build on the end of legendary tidal basin useful, since its essentially a straight dmg reduction due to it being all yellows
I run four piece striker with chest and backpack, coyote's mask and the deathgrips gloves. Gunner plus deathgrips give me that 20% armour on kill, St Elmo's and Rock n Roll, revive hive and shield for skills. I'm only expertise level 14 so my St Elmo hits for 101.2k, one blue core for a total of 1.0M armour, 51.5% chc and 161% chd.
Love the intro! Love the full breakdown too. I ran the 2nd option but now I understand better what to use where thanks to you. The striker headshot sure is nifty. I wonder if I can use my head hunters fury instead, minus the striker stacks because I'm time poor. Do you use the striker head shot build for the love birds?
I like running a 4 piece striker with a unbreakable chest , sawyer kneepads , with a shield and defender drone , with the Khamelion and P90 all crit chance , my Khamelion hits for 1.5 MILLION DAMAGE! My P90 hits for 900k !! I can legit stand still with my shield and drone out and MELT enemies on challenging and heroic!! Now understand that this build has little survivability but as long as you keep enemies in front of your shield and your defender drone healing your armor your ok !!

Noice! Yeah 6 red is 100% the way forward!! Honestly incursions were never bugged to hell and back - I think certain creators have made a big deal out of a small handful of issues. You'll be fine running through the incursion; don't use scorpio on Wright and there are no issues :)
I kinda wanna see if I used 3 tech cores and 3 damage cores on a striker build, if it would still be okay for heroic solo stuff cause I’d like to have more pulse duration and drone up time aswell as a decent amount of damage

Did the incursion yesterday joined at Wright had 2 of these builds (strykers coyotes and grupo) and one healer plus my setup of fenris spotter momento rest strykers technician specialization carbine 7 dtoc with pulse skill. I somehow was about 50m dps (give or take) off from the other two strykers builds that had been there the whole incursion 🤷♂️ probably why rng gave me the cookie gun
I think in my testing in the shooting range, a sokolov chest with obliterate does just slightly more crit damage per bullet than grupo with obliterate, and then it does noticeably more non crit damage obviously. Which one is actually better? My crit damage is around 160% iirc without coyote and I’m using oroborous
The limitation of sokolov is that it only applies to your smg (obvs :D), and you'll suffer the negative effects of return to scale once you start thinking expertise, etc. In short, your theory works if you only play super close range with an SMG, but that's not an optimal way to play - inherently there are always going to be enemies outside of optimal SMG range, at which point you've essentially lost a brand set bonus from the build running soko
Thank you for a great build video. Isn’t contractors only best in slot when you have 2 coyotes in the group and make sure medium buff is active? The condistion for Contractors to do more, is head shots. Assuming all 50 of your shots hit, 7 head shots puts it above every other option. So, of hit shots, 14% need to land on the head, then contractors win. That being said, the total difference between Contractors, Fox's and Grupo is 2.1%.

Lol using a shield takes no skill…as for all red builds they are completely unusable in the open world especially when you get jumped from behind
I haven’t run anything but all red since WONY came out, and I haven’t had any issues. If using a shield takes no skill, it should make all red open world easy, right?
Sometimes (all the time), personal experience and ability doesn’t form a basis for blanket statements
