i seriously appreciate the honesty about your mental health in this vlog. i've been struggling so much too and hearing that doing certain things are difficult for other people as well makes me feel a little less alone
Thank you for this video Lucy! Quick tipp for the tattoo though, as someone who has gone through it several times. It's actually best to get them done in winter/spring/automne cause you shouldn't be exposed to the sun for the first month and sweating while you're healing is also not the best! xx
Hi Lucy! Just wanted to say thank you for making this video 🤍 Watching it completely changed the course of my Sunday. I woke up a mess and could barely get myself out of bed. Seeing you do the chores, cooking yourself a delicious meal, making tea, just having a chill day - all while romanticizing (in a good way) those things yet being honest and vulnerable at the same time - it all inspired me to also take care of myself today and find joy in similar simple things. If it wasn't for your video, I would probably still be a mess right now, but I managed to do some chores today also, and I feel calm and grounded in reality this evening. Again, thank you! Hope you have a great week! ✨
Lucy, i really enjoyed this video! And also wanted to say, i really love your community- or should i say our community hehe - everyone is always so nice and soft in the comments and i just really feel connected to all of you, have a nice evening everyone
I relate to your experience of uni SO much. When I started my first year, I had just come out of the other side/was still in a bit of a incredibly traumatising point in my life for a multitude of reasons, and I found being surrounded by friends but none of them being close enough or knowing me long enough to know how to help really difficult and actually went home early to process it all by myself. Came back in second year and had a pretty great time but had to learn that just because you're friends with some people doesn't mean you should live with them and had to very awkwardly move out of a shared house to a different one with different friends. Third year was the best until the fated march 2020 when covid just ended my degree so suddenly. And then weirdly unrelated but almost my entire wider circle of friends completely imploded (DM essays, twitter indirects, secret group chats- the whole nines, it was brutal). And then that was kinda just... It? I'm hugely greatful for uni and everything it's given me and I'm so much happier and more confident with who I am now than who I was going into it. But I think mostly what I've learned is that uni- like everything- is temporary and fleeting. It'll be transformative in unsuspecting way and yet never long enough at the same time. And it cannot promise a happily ever after once it's over- life just carries on, with or without you. But the experience you had will help you keep up ❤️
Hi Lucy! I've been watching you since around 2014-2015 and I would like to say that I'm so happy for you that you grow into a great person! although I only see a small portion of your life from this channel, I can feel that you are in a good vibe right now and I'm so glad that somehow we grow together as a better person. I rarely comment on your video (or any TH-cam at all) but I think this one must be said. Thank you Lucy!
Skincare is the first thing to go for me when SAD kicks in. The last thing I want is cold water on my face and I just don't have the energy for it. Thanks for the micellar water tip 😊 loved this vlog, have a great week
Absolutely loved this! I really appreciate your honesty and openness with your mental health journey. It felt like I had someone who understood me talking to me while I did my planner for tomorrow :)
watching this video slightly late, but i’ve been going through a tough time (moving to wales to be with my boyfriend and having no friends, lacking motivation to study, feeling quite hopeless in general) - you have made me feel like i’m not alone in feeling like this and i thank you massively
i LOVED girl woman other!! it was my favourite book that I read last year. also absolutely loved watching this on Sunday night preparing for the week ahead. I did the dishes and trimmed the stalks on my flowers and felt very together 😌 always love your videos!
It's Sunday night for me in Australia and I've just finished my own Sunday reset! Just about to do my skincare and pop to bed. This video could not have come at a more perfect time
Lucy, you look so radiant and just very in touch with your needs and wants ✨🌱 That is something I am working towards in my life and watching you makes me feel calm and at the same time motivated to keep shaping who I am. Have a lovely day, Lucy ✨ Ema
Okay a couple things: 1) I love the art behind your bed it's so lovely, 2) I love how much your videos feel like hanging out with a best friend who is also an older sister
Hi Lucy! About the tattoo 1) so exciting, I did my first a year ago and I don't regret it for a second 2) be careful doing it in spring/summer cause tattoos have to stay away for the sun when they are fresh, like for real, so it's maybe better to get them in fall/winter? Love your energy as always
On making friends: something that really helped me grow confidence is talking to the people on check out when you're shopping (food or clothes etc. Doesn't matter). Posties are also amazing to chat to bc they will actually talk to you. Stock questions; - How's your day? - doing anything fun later/after your shift? - I hope you have a good day You get some that are dead chatty and others that clearly just want to go to bed. The point is you get used to talking to other people and build that muscle of reacting to what they're saying rather than panicking about what you're gonna ask next. You only have to be really present for like 5 mins tops and idk about you but at least every 2 days I end up making a transaction somewhere 🤣 I used to do it all the time pre plague but with masks it's a bit of a nightmare and I've really noticed a drop in confidence. I'm trying to do it more now while we're on "mask off" mode. (Although ngl I did fuck up the other day - one of the managers at my local gym came to talk to me bc he was being friendly. I however, immediately went into suspicion mode and was like "okay but why you talking to me?" So I mean... don't do that? But I did go say "sorry for being rude..." and he was like "it's chill! It's too early to chat anyway" but yaknow... that was a nice interaction once I got with the programme 🤦♀️ so uh... don't be me but try the everyday chat haha)
this was so lovely!! thanks for sharing, i think i do my resets on saturdays for some reason?? but maybe switching it to sunday to truly make the best of the upcoming week would work better. this was such a chill video though! i’m in my last year of uni and i kind of accepted that many of the friendships i’ve made here will be temporary, but i don’t really see that as a bad thing anymore, which is really nice. i hope i’ll be able to look back on everything fondly in a few years, or just be content while thinking about it, as you seem to be. just thanks again, in general!! your videos always have a good vibe.
Enjoyed this so much Lucy!❤ I actually paused the video because you motivated me to clean my flat 😁 and now I'm so glad I did it! Just need to colour my hair now, which I hate doing..
Omg that's WHY I've been so tired this week??? Period is due to rock up on valentines day and I've been like hibernating and going for a walk recently has just been wiping me out. I always forget how hormones affect EVERYTHING 🤦♀️
Same! I chose the wrong group of friends in university and ended up having like one friend left near and end was super jealous of the people who had tight friend groups and mini uni families!
Really lovely video and chats :) Also I adore that hydrogel cream, it's a skincare staple for me! Always stock up when there's a sale:) Thanks for the vid!
Lucy on the tattoo thing I would not necessarily do it in the summer. You can't get it wet for several weeks and so it depends on your schedule but it can be a pain if you plan on swimming or going anywhere with water
Loved this vlog. Very calming. Also that clothes hanger is so cool! P.s doing something nice for your significant other or your home isn't anti-feminist.
The part about folding washing and 'perpetuating the patriarchy', this is so relatable! I also feel silly but I can't help feeling like this too, even if my boyfriend does his fair share. It frustrates me, haha.
I loved this blog Lucy! I feel like I’m listening to a friend! I like your honesty and your whole vibe 🤍 (I feel the same when I fold my partner’s clothes that he just washed 🤣)
❤️ Ps. I just found out I was SEVERELY vitamin D deficient and they told me you have to take it on an empty stomach. And especially no tea or dairy a couple of hours before
‘As a bit of a hack that I really recommend. If you’re someone that struggles with their mental health is having a micellar water available to you, like just in your cupboard for the days where you cannot be bothered to take your suncream off. ‘
Tattoos are only a summer thing if you don't plan on going into the sea/the pool or exposing your tattoo to the sun ;) I personally prefer getting tattooed anytime but summer haha
Lucy I find your videos very relaxing and helpful with calming down so I like to create mashups with Imagine Dragon songs and then I play them really loud through BT on my soundbar and start punching holes in the plasterboard connecting to my neighbours house. Sometimes I make a clean hole and I can see through the hole into my neighbours house and I like to pretend that I'm a wall spirit that they come to speak to seeking advice. They always seem angry and distressed but I can't hear them through the Imagine Dragons 168 hours mashups so I hope they're doing well.
Do not get a tattoo in summer...the heeling process is way harder and the chance for it to bleed is higher..and you have to protect it from the sun at all times... and you can't go swimming.. its hard..
Hi Lucy, what’s the nail polish you‘re wearing? I’ve seen it on your latest Instagram posts as well and it looks like it could become a new fave color of mine 😍
hahaha I feel the same about perpetrating the patriarchy! My bf does most of the house chores, like 80%. Yet when I'm cooking i feel like I'm a 50s housewife 😅
Hi Lucy, I reckon you know about the books period power and the women code! Revelation for me years ago on the different energy and intention phases of my cycle
I was just thinking how do you feel abt the new Kardashian series on hulu? I'm afraid it might end up being a bit weird, also... what could they have changed in the contract that's different from KUWK? Isn't the point always sharing their life...?
Hello fellow Lucy Moon friends, specifically those who live in London: Can you guys recommend some affordable places in London to eat out for lunch and dinner? I'm up for street food too. It should be vegan or at least vegetarian. I'm taking my mum and brother to London for the first time ever and we don't have a lot of money to spend. I would be really happy about some insider tips! Thanks so much in advance.
i seriously appreciate the honesty about your mental health in this vlog. i've been struggling so much too and hearing that doing certain things are difficult for other people as well makes me feel a little less alone
I feel exactly the same!
You’re definitely not alone, I’ve been struggling too. x
got loads of bits done around my flat while watching ❤️ your so soothing lucy 😂❤️
😇 thank u Tara

Honestly I'm so lucky to have you all! 🤍
Omg what you said about perpetrating the patriarchy when doing household chores... I FEEL YOU!!! 😭🤣

Love the friends chat! Usually a silent viewer but I just wanted to say that these types of videos are my fave 🥰

Watching this and working on my collage with a tee, pure Sunday reset
Just can't stop thinking about your laundry hanger... that is genius!!

Thank you for the kind words PWRetro x
LUCY what is that rigging you have in your kitchen for the laundry?!!? I need!!!
It came with the flat, we love it! Will miss it when we move
don't feel guilty for caring for your boyfriend and doing things for him
I use the sleepy Pukka tea too! We'll keep it in circulation xD
It’s clipper but pukka do some decent ones too!
I love the vibes of your videos. You look like Nina Nesbitt BTW ♥️♥️♥️
I just went on a Google journey and I think it’s Pastel V005 by the gel bottle inc!
Thank you 😘
Pine Cones for ruffage.. 😂
Something seems so different about you in this video and whatever it is I’d love for you to talk about it soon! You just seem so excitedly content… 🌞
hahaha I feel the same about perpetrating the patriarchy! My bf does most of the house chores, like 80%. Yet when I'm cooking i feel like I'm a 50s housewife 😅
