    I just bought a 2020 Outlander, I traded in my 2015 Nissan Rogue Select, I had a lot of issues with my rogue mostly transmission related, it started off with a “brake switch” and ended up needing a CVT replacement. My mom bought a Mirage in 2015 and she’s done 80k miles and never had an issue. I love my Outlander, I’ve had it about 3 weeks so far, it achieves MPGs my rogue could never reach even going down hill lol. It rides so much better than my rogue did in every way.. the outlander can go over a bump without feeling like your in a work truck my rogue couldn’t do it lol , it’s a lot quieter as well. My rogue also didn’t have the sliding sun visors. My rogue didn’t have cruise control. My outlander has cruise control, heated seats alloy wheels..I had hubcaps on my rogue lol. Overall I feel like I upgraded, I actually went to a Nissan dealer and they literally didn’t even want to show me a car. I was told I could get a Rogue Sport for $650 a month but they wouldn’t show me it.. I’m really glad I bought the outlander I got it for $100 more than my rogue select car payment and I 100% can justify it considering I got a larger, better riding vehicle with so many more features than my rogue had.

      I just bought a new 2020 EX L in Granite Brown Metallic. 💕 Love this SUV. Great deal as the 2022 has just arrived. Handling & comfort is top rate. I love the clean lines & how it looks as good or better than any luxury SUV such as Audi Q7 scaled down or a BMW X3. Beautiful vehicle, my first Mitsubishi and our everyday driver.

    I've owned a 2015 for 4 years now, it's our family hauler....80k miles, no problems except a torn shock boot. I've recently did a brake job but other than that I just change the oil and filters and replaced the CVT fluid once myself. In terms of reliability it is typical Japanese - bullet proof. The car is assembled very nicely but the materials from sheet metal to some plastics are definitely a step below a typical Honda or Toyota. The dealer discounts are steep so you can get a fully loaded model for typically $8k off MSRP. My 2015 is the model before the re-fresh so it missed out on the "fix" for the crashy suspension. This 2015 does not like rough pavement but it is very smooth and refined on normal roads. The engine drones under load and is not pleasant so it is definitely happier cruising. The all wheel drive system is amazing in the snow. It was a good buy 4 years ago but now it it just too old at this point to justify buying another one. If Mitsu came out with an all new Outlander it would definitely get my consideration.

    Good review, a couple of additions that your viewers might want to know, the 2019 model added rear vents in the 2nd row. Also, the 3rd row is truly for children or maybe adults under 5 f. The vehicle is a good value (best 7 seater fuel-economy in class (non-hybrid), like you 30 mpg in hwy @ 75 mph, , but as you said its getting old, Mitsubishi should give it a meaningful facelift maybe add inches to third row. That said, I am pleased with my 2019 Outlander

      Seems everyone over there uses Toyota or Isuzu to go in the marsh...Land Rover and Jeep not so much. I am curious what are the gun laws like over there? Can you still take a rifle in the outback?

    • @Retromansite
      @Retromansite 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chadhaire1711 yes Land Rover & Jeep have lousy reputations over here. Parts backup is always a problem cause we’re a relatively small market. Gun laws are administered (read interpreted) by each State. Basically you need to pass a test and be a member of a gun/hunting club or own rural property. Single shot rifles/shotguns only, no self loading or pump action as far as I know.

    Honest straight to the point review! Like it. I just got my hands on a brand new 2022 Outlander about 3 weeks ago. Ever since I could drive, I've always had Sedans or hatchbacks and when SUVs were becoming more and more popular, I hated them and couldn't see the point. When I was looking to trade in my 2017 Honda Civic RS Turbo, there just wasn't anything on the market that grabbed me until Mitsubishi New Zealand began advertising their 2022 Outlander Runout sale. A 2022 Outlander LS 2.4L Front Wheel Drive for NZD$35,000 (less than USD$20,000) looked like a tasty deal. Fortunately my mother just got one as a new company car which was the All Wheel Drive version so I used hers for a test drive before heading to the Mitsu dealer to test the LS model. I went with an open mind and was extremely surprised. I was fed up with fancy equipment and leather seats that was either prone to not working properly or just didn't use. The outlander has enough gadgets to be comfortable and functional yet nothing you don't need. You'll be pleased to note, the new Outlanders include a spare tyre under the back and the cloth seats on the LS are very comfortable. When I went to the dealer, they had a pre-owned VXR model on the court which had some nice external features to make it look more aggressive. As a stroke of luck, many of the VXR features were available in the Options catalogue so I got mine dressed up to suit my own personal taste which added only about $3500 to the total cost of the vehicle thanks to a very price savy salesman. As standard the main features now are: Spare tyre, daytime LEDs, Cloth seat upholstery, Cruise Control (non adaptive), Apple Car Play in the infotainment system, Tinted rear passenger windows, 18' chrome+painted alloy wheels and rear parking sensors. I added Rain guards on the doors with Outlander details, VXR tailgate spoiler, Rear bumper protector, bonnet protector shield with Outlander details, Front Fog lights, Front parking sensors, Illuminated front door sills and chrome door handles. Very very happy and everything in this review is why I've fallen in love with my Outlander as it has everything you want yet nothing you don't need.
