Just wanted to say I knitted a shawl a few years ago with the same kind of Caron Cakes that you bought, use it all the time, and regularly throw it in the washer/dryer with zero issues. Don’t know why they put “hand wash/lay flat to dry” on the label. It’s actually easy care yarn. ❤

Juan, you are an inspiration to me to get out of my box in crocheting. I bought the Ultimate Granny Square Source Book by Meteoor Books. It has a 100 contemporary motifs in it. I am a fairly new crocheter so my project this year is to make every block in this book. I am going to do them in groups of 4 and join them together. The book's patterns are written and chart. The yarns are done in DK weight. I hope by doing this project I will upgrade my pattern reading skills, learn new stitches, get out of my colorway rut and increase my tension skills. Thank you for being you which has inspired me like nobody has ever done before.
I'm on the 12 step crochetoholic program and am struggling to resist buying hershnerrs yarn after watching today. Juan, Roll with it Melange is so beautiful and works up to such a perfect color way. I have used it 2x's now with Cat Walk being my bigger project. Only problem is that the yarn kinda kinks up and it doesn't matter if you pull from the center or the outside of the cake. I got used to it....wasn't going to let the yarn control me. LOL Enjoy it. I cannot wait to see what you make.
Sooo excited to see your Herrschners haul! I just got my box from them today too... my box is really heavy too and one corner was torn and broken ;( ....but I took a look and it looks like all my yarn is okay and the corner that broke the yarn that was in that area was in plastic bags. I'm too tired tonight to go through my box and check what was sent to me and then record the unboxing video and put away the yarn. No idea where I will put this new yarn haul away, lol... Ooh your pink project you can make something for breast cancer awareness, maybe chemo caps they would probably be very nice and soft.

Retired when i learned to knit and crochet at age fifth grade. I would save up my allowance, then babysitting money to buy yarn at stores that were closing and the yarn was clearance prices.. So now im retired and have time to knit and crochet. My yarn stach could be equavelent ? to a small store. THAT IS WHY I WATCH THE YARN HAULS AND AM ENVIOUS, of the fibre arts persons. There some awesome new yarns, colors,combinations. Out now. But i have to be disiplined not to get to much more yarn. Unless i have a grandchild that shows interest in the fibre arts. Time will tell. I also viewed dees and jax chat, of which you Juan and Crystals names were mentioned. Ola joe is also an inspiration her star or eight point afghan is also as nice as everyone that i have seen. Beautiful yarn haul. I'm going to get that book Sirens Atlas, you can get it in UK terms or US terms. I'm from the UK as you know but most of the tutorials I follow are from the US, so when I crochet I think in US terms. I need to buy the US version of the book 😂😂
I can't say enough good about Herrschners! I live relatively close to them, and they get packages to me in a few days. I've taken a chance on several of their "bags" of Turkish yarns I'd never heard of and have not been disappointed. And, their customer service, if you need it, is wonderful.
I would love to see you make a project using one of those Hershner‘s multi packs. I have several, and sometimes I look at them and I just don’t know what to do with them or even how big of a project a single four pack will make. Love your channel!

I love Herrschners yarn but the last time I ordered from them I had to pay a additional city,county, and state tax on top of all the taxes and shipping, it was almost another $15 in charges. I know it’s not there fault but I have to wait for free shipping if it’s ever offered.
