This is amazing my son also has spastic cp and is on the waitlist for Botox for his legs so this gets me very excited ! His neurologist is also recommending baclofen so I feel like you are my guide . Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤

That was so much better. Heck even on me just watching. Not alone having to be there with him ❤. Great job ❤❤ I was about 4 I had surgery it took 4 male surgeons to hold me down. Back in the 80’s lol. I couldn’t imagine going through what Beckham has. You guys are doing great. I enjoy watching your videos.

I'm so glad they found the treatment that don't cause if anything breaks my heart when I see him get the Botox injections I hope they continue this treatment so that he doesn't have to feel the pain and being anxious about anything you said your precious little angel❤❤❤

Thank goodness for botox for these issues. I get them down my spine and back of head and jaw . I get sick like kinda feel like I have the flu for a day then I’m go od to go for 3 to 4 months. I take mine for generalized Dystonia. I am glad Beckham is sedated. My prayers are with him.,
Not me crying over here! I am 28 years old, and still with my mom! And when I was Beckham’s age, I had different surgeries that I had to be put under for as well. So, just knowing that you got to be back there with him is amazing! 💜

You should look into selective dosal rhizotomy a neurological procedure on the spine to permanently get rid of the spasticity, the St. Louis, Children’s Hospital specializes it, they do it to children throughout the entire world the surgeon is known as Dr. TS park. Children as young as two years old can have it done. I have spastic diplegia and I had it done in 2013 I now I am able to walk comfortably in my walker and with braces.

I've told you before that my sister and BIL adopted two CP kids. When they started to try and communicate, she got a device that she called a touch talker. It can be programmed with familiar phrases and different symbols associated specifically with your family in mind, He is a smart cookie and is making great strides. Keep up the good work. 👍

When I was 4 I had a days long stomach bug and I ended up in hospital of that. I was given dioralyte, which I hate. I was unsurprisingly very uncooperative with drinking it. As a result I was put on a drip to rehydrate me and I found that the drip was so much more pleasant than the dioralyte.
I was in hospital for 3 days I think and was discharged just before Christmas. Yep, I waited until the Christmas holidays to get sick.
Children remember these things and the relief you get from more pleasant ways of treatment.

I seriously love the relationship betwin grandparents and grandchildren. I think it’s because of the super special relationship I have with my Grandson. He has always been my bff. My Daughter is like you love him more than me. Which I told her isn’t true because the reason I love him so much is because he is hers. If I didn’t live her so much I wouldn’t adore her son so much, right? It may be a little more fun being a grandma than a Mom though. All the fun stuff without the responsibility.
It's a lot better under anasethic, cos it was obvious that has he got older he wouldn't play ball if thed done it as they had been doing as believe me traumatic hodpital experiences, come back to haunt you in adult life causing ptsd that then can make you as I am now very reluctant to have procedures at hospital ,not helped a few years ago when I had a endoscopy sedation worked somewhat but not as it should, to correct so even it wasent actually a hospital it was like an advanced doctors place come day unit and I remember them putting bite thing in my mouth and somebody holding ne so whethever I'd been panicking I don't know but now it's a very firm no general anasethic and if they said we can't do that it would be okay bye bye I'm going home, so I'm relieved there doing it most humane way as he will be more happier in future plus he eill associate more having it done and physio easier because of injections❤❤❤

That is a great move on your part--Why so many doctors? They all have to get a cut? Our medical system has gotten so horrible along with all else that is going on in the world. Its all about those dollar$ now a days. I really hope we have better things coming in the future!--Thanks for sharing

I been sick then my 7 year old got pink eye her whole class got it lol22 kids only 8 stayed in school rest went home then I was busy being a mama. Beckham is so strong, we all say stuff about kids because we love them but you matter too mama, u r strong and amazing. We see u sweety and we love u too

I love to see Beckham with Grandpa. You can see the love ,trust, and bond they share is truly special. I'm sure having Grandpa there also helped Beckham stay calm and content (since he didnt know he wouldnt feel anything at this appointment) Beckham is so blessed to have the parents and family he does. I'm so glad he want be in anymore pain going to get his botox appointments. Beckham is one 💪 and handsome little prince. O and Racheal just wanted to tell you that you're a strong, beautiful, and amazing mother !

I'm SO glad that they did his injections under sedation. Letting you stay with.him till he was asleep was awesome, too. When I was 5, I had to have surgery to remove my tonsills. I remember being scared to death as they wheeled me away from my mother. I was crying hysterically. There's no reason to scare a little child like that. Precious Beckham doesn't need to be traumatized. You are such an awesome, brave mom, Rachel! Happy Mother's Day! I pray that the botox and baclofen will help Bubba to feel so much better!🫂❤️🙏✝️
