- If you're trying to figure out how to get more email subscribers, here are 17 lead magnet ideas so that you can offer something quick (but valuable) in exchange for a person's email address.
No one wakes up in the morning and says they want more emails, so your pitch to subscribe for your exclusive newsletter isn't going to work. You need to offer something in exchange for an email that is helpful.

Lovely Video! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Qeyattey Controversial Theorem (just google it)? It is a smashing one off product for learning how to get free traffic clicks leads and sales minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my old buddy Taylor at last got amazing results with it.

I'm writing a series of Amazon KDP books and I'm embedding a lead magnet in the book to add a bonus for my readers (and capture those oh so important email addresses). Right now I'm developing a mix of the Mini-Course/Email Course through ConvertKit that uses videos and emails to teach transformational daily habits. Lead magnets still work despite what some people say. Like you say, simple is best nowadays and checklists are working great for me at present. Also looking at implementing infographics too 👍
Wow, thanks Pat! Such a great trick to get more interaction! Try also Tapmixer. With this service, you launch a landing page work on the offer, visual appearance, choose a type of social interaction (for example leave an email just like in your vid), and placement. A useful one!
Awesome ideas, Pat! I think my best bet would be to start with #1 (Resource List) or #4 (video to pressing question). I know one major question my audience has...I'm just not sure how to make it happen on video. As a teacher I love interacting with people, but the camera doesn't talk back! You are modeling it though...I'll try to follow your lead! Thanks for this!

I have a query for you.With GDPR being implemented,will the subscriber list come down for people who are already having an email list? How do the beginners approach the whole thing?
I am creating an online course through Pat's "Smart From Scratch Program". I have a list of just under 500 that I hope to grow to 1000 + by the fall when I launch my eCourse. I am just starting to work on my content and list building strategy between now and then so this is perfect!
My latest blog post got over 600 hits (largest yet) but only 1 list subscription. I think adding a checklist, cheatsheet or template content upgrade would be a great next step for me. I may try a free mini eCourse as well.

I'm a drummer who does drum set transcription. Drum transcriptions have been a killer way I've grown Instagram, TH-cam, and my email list.
