I learned a similar recipe many years ago where its more stew like. I cook the Sausage, Add peeled quartered potatoes, green beans and quarter an average onion then add two cups of chicken stock. Cook for 20 minutes covered or until taters are done. I have even browned up the potatoes first which adds a great flavor. A quarter teaspoon full of thyme along with onion and garlic powder and red pepper flakes to taste. Thanks for this great recipe!!
Yes Ma'am Sandy . Kabasa sausage 🌭 potatoes 🥔 and onion🧅. And hot buttered cornbread . That's my kind of comfort meal . The Lord Bless . You And Family . 😋
Three of my absolutely favorite ingredients of all times!! This looks so delicious Sandy!!! I'm definitely making this next!!! Thanks for sharing and as always you're looking absolutely gorgeous!!😉
Ironically TH-cam suggested this to me while I'm currently making this for dinner🤤🤤I absolutely love this quick fix easy meal I make mine with cornbread muffins and drizzle each with a mixture of agave and butter sweet & delicious 😋❤️
I make something almost exactly like this - instead of butter, fry till crisp 3 or 4 strips of bacon, remove bacon and add sausage, onion and garlic according video description - as described add the mess to a bowl toss in green beans ( I’ve also used canned carrots, canned mushrooms, etc. cleaning the pantry) In the mixing bowl I generally add a swig of apple cider vinegar and apple juice. My grandmother always threw in caraway seeds, I don’t cause I don’t like ‘em. Never tried Cajun seasonings, have to give it a try. Anyway, bake as described and enjoy with a cold beer.
Hi chris! Your recipe sounds delicious, I may have to give it a try. Im the same way, I dont like Caraway seeds, I accidently bought the sour krout with them in it and couldnt eat it. And a cold beer is great with any meal! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. I appreciate you!
