Karl made a good call to turn down 6 million in favor of expansion. His company already nets 2.4 million out of their 12 million annual revenue, so it makes sense to not throw away such a business at the expense of receiving roughly a 2 year income in advance. Well executed 👍.

Another awesome interview. I wanted to add to this that I saw an estimate that only 9.9% of nurses are African American. We are about 13% of the population so there is PLENTY of room and need for more of us in the field. We need representation at the bedside. So if you are thinking about healthcare, come on in!
It's only 9.9% ... it doesn't feel that way in NY and SE Florida. But once you factor in all the states I can see that being the case. I met with a director of Radiology that only had 1.5% representation. 200 employees and 3 black techs and she was one of them. What we determined is more needs to be done on the high-school level to mentor, tutor, and financially support the next generation.
