During COVID I got stranded in SG and luckily I had my camera gear with me. Hence, countless times I too went to Pasir Ris Park, in order to pursue my bird photography hobby. Unfortunately, I did not run into Jayaprakash - maybe next time !

I am glad to hear Jayaprakash sometimes had to wait for hours for something to happen. Some wildlife video scenes are staged -- deliberately and cruelly pitting animals against each other.
I once saw a video of an iguana pitted against a praying mantis. Usially, an iguana would have made a quick meal of a praying mantis. But there were cuts in the video, which ended up showing the praying mantis already clamping on the iguana, and eating the iguana's gum. You can imagine how painful that must have been for the iguana. But the clip lasted only a few seconds. I suppose the photographer intervemed. But that was bad enough.

One of the best locations in SG to observe and take photos of wildlife, given that so much of our forests are being taken out to build housing especially for new citizens and foreigners, is right in the heart of the city. Our Parliament is not only Great for entertainment but also observe and witness how much wild life has evolved in this tiny but Most Expensive City on Earth.
