I totally understand having satelite tv whilst on the road. You don't always have internet or brodcast. Its a great way to cover all the bases. Great upgrades Eric.
WOW, Eric. You are making your rig "Single guy comfortable" like I did my little 19' PW with my two dogs. Makes so much more sense to be comfortable on the road.
Congratulations, Eric and Jax on your remodel!!! Eric you are so good at all the technical connections. I wish I could be half as good. But I so appreciate your abilities to show us all how to do it. Thank you for all the info. I know you and Jax are going to enjoy and love it. Thanks, stay safe and enjoy.
If you feel the need later, you could always add one of those removable tables, so you don't have to eat in your lap. Are you still going to convert the bunk area to an office?
Good removal! We removed a large swivel chair by our stairs which left large bolts sticking up which I used to install a custom hand-rail/barrier which reached from floor to ceiling kinda like on a bus or a train. That removed my concern that someone would step into the stairwell accidently. We then built and installed a TV cabinet against that wall. A 3 foot by 3 foot floor-space is a huge amount of area in a Motor Home. In your case I probably would have saved the Dinette Set pieces in storage in case I sold the Coach later. We use our Dinette daily for eating, writing, puzzles, games, office, extra counter-space when cooking, etc.
Eric my wife and I enjoy watching your videos every night. The quality of your videos by far surpass all your competitors! Thanks for sharing You and Jax’s daily life with the world. You bring much joy and entertainment to many!
LOVE IT, LOVE IT! AWESOME addition. Why don't RV manufacturers get a clue?? Large dinette sets are soooo yesterday, and they ALWAYS take up so much space. RV life is conducive to being outdoors, eating outdoors, cooking outdoors, unless it's inclement. Your additions are conducive to the best, most practical and comfortable. 👍 the easier the better!!!! Only concern would be clearance. Love the info...you're a thorough resource. Looking forward to getting a similar system. Stay safe...best to you and Jaximus! 🤗
You're not done. You need to get a motorized TV lift stand so you can lower your TV behind the dresser and have use of your window again. I know you'll need to pull out your dresser a bit, but hey... Will be worth it. If done correctly, it may add some protection to your TV when driving. And for another project, a dual zone mini-split AC system to replace those roof AC units. More room for more solar panels!
Perfect timing! Thanks Eric! We're going full time for half of the year and don't want to miss any Nascar. We have been talking about the playmaker. Thank you so much!
I love how you took several big projects and edited down the completion. Dish is awesome from what you describe it does, Cabinet looked like it would take a month, 3 mins and voila! it's done. Looks great! Thanks for including us in these cool changes and processes! Jax will want to lay on it, make him a comfy spot with non skid bottom.
Wow!! It DOES look so much better!!! I always thought that was dumb having the tv there!!! Genius!!! Love the dresser idea too!! AND the satellite dish!!!! You done good!!
I love what you’ve done to the dining area! Those drawers look terrific!! Did you know that Walmart will assemble that stuff for about $60. For me it would be worth it! What a pile of parts you had there!!! Love your Dish antenna and DVR! I’ve just found out that I can stream what’s on my TiVo box at home to my iPad or iPhone while I’m on the road! Works perfectly! I love all this new technology! Hi to Jax! Not enough Jax in this video!! (Just kidding :).
Eric,If that chest of drawers doesn't hold up for the long run, take a look at Target and their Threshold line of cube storage. They make a 6 storage cube that takes the Fabric style boxes for storing stuff. the cube dimensions are about 13 x 13 and the unit depth is about 16 deep . 3 cubes stacked in a row of 2. It's similar to the IKEA expidit line of storage that got replaced by kallax although the threshold stuff is a bit lighter as the core is mostly hollow but pretty beefy if you decide to glue the thing together and also use the screws (you wont be able to take it apart). You'll have to put a back on it and nail it on to sort of beef up the rear diagonal forces. (you could use a side of the cardboard box the unit ships in to do that or a thin laminate board would work). What you now own is something similar to the closetmaid brand of product and the tracks to the drawers have a tendency to vibrate the screws out of the chip board (and crack the chip board.) . I use the threshold stuff to store vinyl records (which are pretty heavy) and no issues holding that type of weight even stacking cube sets on top of each other.(as long as you beef up the rear so it won't accordion on you., and I don't glue any of it) I hope jax enjoys the top of the new furniture as much as he did the seating area, at least he's got one more remote to play with.
You know, I’ve been following you since 2014, and I can’t help but notice all of the interior mods you’ve done to: 1)Tilly 2) Bertha 3) Olga 4) Yoda Now it’s Miranda’s turn - That six drawer hutch was an absolutely brilliant idea man! 👍🏼👌🏼✌🏼😎
I like how you point out you can entertain yourself in other ways. If I attach my dish to the roof and get connection at least half the time, I would be happy. So you helped me decide. Gonna mount mine on the roof. I don’t want to have to worry about the dang thing falling down a hill like it did when I had one years ago for my trailer.
Totally enjoyed your video, and I did not care it was a longer video than normal! Your RV is looking great! I have always thought that the dinette was useless! Especially for people who are not walking closet hangers! Those dinettes are designed for kids to sit at, draw, play games and such! I am glad you took it out and put the drawers in that spot, it looks amazing under the TV!! Jax will enjoy the spot and love getting warm by the TV also! That is where my big cat sits in the Wintertime, she even watches TV at times! Smart cats watch TV! Keep on being you, Eric and thanks for all the great information about Dish Outdoors and showing us the dismantling of the dinette! Take care and God bless you and Jax!
You have the best full time design rv of anyone on TH-cam that I have seen. It is looking great and you seem so happy and content. I am so happy for you. My husband and I love your videos and we love Jax. We are also cat people. Love the remodel.
Love the remodel I had an idea If the passengers chair can turn around you could make a table out of the left top drawer or a folding swivel table on the side of the cabinet that you could use for a desk or dining table if you wanted a change or had a couple of guest over
Definitely a long video but well worth it. Love all the new changes I was kind of hoping that you were going to do a step-by-step installation of the dish but something that I would definitely be doing thanks so much for the video
The dresser is a great look and idea. You could get a vase and some artificial roses at a $ store and when you park, pop out your "flowers" for a homey look! Or a basket with some green plants. I like having a few plants around but real ones might not work on the road. I'm really impressed how you've moved up over the years, better rigs, great improvements all along the way. Your a lot of fun to watch.
Looking good! You are correct! You have to make it yours. The RV dinettes aren't designed to sit comfortably for longer than a meal. Everyone has different wants, needs & hobbies.
I wish I could be as smart as you. You see I'm 67yr old and a widow, all this technology is beyond me. My husband was like you he could fix and figure out things. But I still will be hitting the road in December. So very happy for your accomplishments. Happy Trails.
Happy for you Eric. I too like simplicity. Will look into this. We already have the Walley but did not know about the DVR. Thank you for the info. Enjoy. ❤️❤️
Wow, that drawer system looks really nice. Making your RV yours should be what everyone does. Seems like I am always changing something in mine. Everyone has different needs. Know you will have to get yourself a movable table so you can work without holding your hot laptop on your lap. Your video was about twice as long as usual. I enjoyed it as you kept it going with different things.
Thanks for the information on the Dish Anywhere. Those Impractical Jokers are comical! I would like to look into that speaker thing, it would make a great gift for my niece whom loves to go out on her boat - since it is water proof. Thanks again for sharing! Have a nice day!
Hi Eric, I'm glad you replied to a pervious comment about Jax not allowed on the table. I was thinking aw, poor Jax lost his space, but I see now he was just getting away with it during the removal. Good video thanks for sharing. If you ever decide to retire from TH-cam you can become your own rv remodeling company 👍
Guys and their gadgets! I gave up tv over 10 years ago, however I've replaced it with TH-cam. Once an addict, always an addict I guess. I just knew the day would come when you'd start tearing out stuff and remodeling Miranda. You're happy, and that's all that matters.
Eric you are looking good...maybe that California sunshine is agreeing with you. I think it's great that you are showing people that you can make your rv truly a home that fits your needs without concern of taking away value from your investment. Your cabinet coming in early to the store you randomly stopped at...good karma. I like that you did these renovations/upgrades as 1 video.
Good for You! It is your life Make it All you want! Home is important to feel comfortable. Thanks for sharing the Dish Outdoors - I now want to upgrade our VP211k receiver....very nice set of drawers way better than the booth dinette!!!
Eric, love your videos! Idea for seatbelt holes in floor: maybe install a handrail next to stairs where the base of it would cover those holes. Give it some style, too!
Looks great Eric. Gotta make it yours. Just like others would if they lived in a sticks and brick house. I starting watching while you were still in college. Been a wild and crazy ride. Greetings from Nashville,Tennessee.
Wow Eric! The new dresser looks great in that spot. That will be awesome for when you don't use your pull outs. Show us what it looks like with the pull out is in.
Hey Eric, awesome upgrades buddy. I don't like dinettes either, they are a huge waste of space in an RV. And the 6 drawer cabinet looks great under the 55" tv. Glad it was able to fit.
Thanks for the Bluetooth speaker promo code!!! I'm excited to to be getting it, have been in the market for a one sense July 2019. Also, love the video's & the upgrade is sweeeeeeet. I'll share a picture on my IG & give a shout-out when I have it.
I was wondering if you put the couch on same side as the steps, and TV on other side of RV with dresser, you'd be adding more functionality because steps prevent you from using that area. You would never need to use slide either. I totally agree with trading dresser and drawers for unused dinette
Looks great! You could go to Walmart and get a small area rug for that area in front of your new entertainment area. It would look cool too! Maybe a Navaho design or something you like. Your favorite team. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video! That cabinet turned out great! Additionally this video just goes to reinforce the fact that you just don't push a button and it's done. There is a boat load of planning and work invested in the production of your content. Well done Eric. Safe travels to you and Jax.
Terrific renos! Where's the pool table? Just kidding. Love it. I would get a back piece for the dresser and glue it on to keep little critters out of your wires and odds and ends stored in the dresser.
Glad you are happy with your new equipment and modifications. This is America. We get to have choices. You have made Miranda your RV. The technology is pretty impressive. For myself on the road I read a lot, watch Netflix and of course TH-cam. I have a little TV but it’s not out of the box yet. But when I’m ready it’s nice to know the technology is there. Thanks for showing the start to finish.
There's nothing wrong with making his RV look and feel more like a real home inside. I personally would of added a half way up divider partition wall between the dresser and the RV door to cover the seat belt holes using 2 X4 wood frame then add drywall or wall board to complete the divider wall then paint to finish. I like that Eric replaced the dinette with a dresser under the big screen TV.
I love the fact that we didn’t need wait for a new video for the finale of the projects. Thanks. Miranda looks fancy!
Me too, it was a good plan 😎
I dont have time for T.V, im addicted to youtube
No kidding!
I haven't watched tv in years but watch a couple hours of TH-cam a day.
I watch both at the same time and watch TH-cam when the commercials come on!
LOL how ironic. I too spend about 80% of my viewing on TH-cam as well. There is so much great content.
I’m addicted to youtube also. 👍
Dog Gone enjoy it 🍻
I’m doing great with TH-cam, no need for any extras 😁
Congratulations, Eric and Jax on your remodel!!! Eric you are so good at all the technical connections. I wish I could be half as good. But I so appreciate your abilities to show us all how to do it. Thank you for all the info. I know you and Jax are going to enjoy and love it. Thanks, stay safe and enjoy.
Haven't seen you this happy in a long time 😁👍👍👍 great to see that you're making your home comfortable for you and Jax, stay safe and God Bless
Wow, that dresser/credenza really looks classy & is a much more effective use of space. Go Eric!
If you feel the need later, you could always add one of those removable tables, so you don't have to eat in your lap. Are you still going to convert the bunk area to an office?
agreed, I don't know why more people don't do this.
Boy are you lucky that the tile was under that furniture! It looks so much better with nothing in that spot. What a great visionary you are sensei!
We use our Dinette daily for eating, writing, puzzles, games, office, extra counter-space when cooking, etc.
I really like that you are not afraid to make changes to Miranda that improves comfort and useability for you....well done.
That’s a great idea! Looks great.your the only guy doing his RV exactly how I’d do it! Nobody talks about their entertainment system.
Eric, Jax,
Roses are red violets are blue when I listen to AC/DC my neighbors do too.
Peace Luke T
Eric, remember the old saying "Whatever floats your boat"......it's your life and it's wonderful that you're living it to the fullest!!
I really like your ideal, something I would of done,
Looks great, more like a living room now,
Eric my wife and I enjoy watching your videos every night. The quality of your videos by far surpass all your competitors! Thanks for sharing You and Jax’s daily life with the world. You bring much joy and entertainment to many!

Looking forward to getting a similar system.
Stay safe...best to you and Jaximus! 🤗
Eric, when fitting the L brackets to the drawer unit, attach them on the inside so then you won't see them! 👍🏻
Life Quest, i agree thats what i meant as i didn't state where to place them. I'm sure Eric would figure that out.
Great idea!!!
I think Jax misses that table, he looked very comfy. on it LOL!!! Looks GREAT & ROOMY Eric!!! LOVES/HUGS to you & Jax!!!!
Gorgeous set up. However, u know what your missing tho Eric? SURROUND SOUND. Just a thought
Great video Eric! Love the fact that you inspire RVers to make it their own.
Perfect timing! Thanks Eric! We're going full time for half of the year and don't want to miss any Nascar. We have been talking about the playmaker. Thank you so much!
I give it 2 years max before they warp and wobble and need replaced. Van city had dresser made of particle board and it lasted less than 2 years.
Everything in a camper is made of particle board.
Jax playing with the remote. 🤗 He's so cute!
I really enjoy your remodeling and upgrade videos thanks for sharing Eric!
We've taken our dinette out in 3 different rigs now. Yours looks like a tremendous improvement!
Epic video. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks for all the sharing of experiences and ideas. Be safe.!
Yay, good for you! Making your rv your own!
Great video! Jax makes an awesome jobsite supervisor. You helped me decide which way I’d like to go with satellite tv when the time comes.
The cabinet and TV looks so much better than the dinnette. Good work!
I love how you took several big projects and edited down the completion. Dish is awesome from what you describe it does, Cabinet looked like it would take a month, 3 mins and voila! it's done. Nice remodel. Your mobile man cave is coming together.

You could put a cabinet in there that has a fireplace with the drawers
You know, I’ve been following you since 2014, and I can’t help but notice all of the interior mods you’ve done to:
1)Tilly
2) Bertha
3) Olga
4) Yoda
Now it’s Miranda’s turn - That six drawer hutch was an absolutely brilliant idea man!
👍🏼👌🏼✌🏼😎
Very nice...I don’t like dinettes either...your design is perfect for that space, got to make it your home sweet home...and Jax’s too😁
Absolutely.
Yup
Your enthusiasm is infectious. Fetch with Jax.

I think this is one of your best. Surprised to see the cabinet instructions say it is made in the USA!!! Perfect!
Eric, I loved the video. The drawers with the tv makes the space look homey & more like a living room. Thanks for letting us watch you renovate.
I love that you demo-ed the dinnette! It looks awesome!
Totally enjoyed your video, and I did not care it was a longer video than normal! Your RV is looking great! I have always thought that the dinette was useless! My favorite part of your channel, remodeling. Looking good.
Great remodelling and so nice to watch. Congrats on the practical satellite tv!
Jax didn't seem to think the dinette was a waste of space. He looked rather comfy.
You have the best full time design rv of anyone on TH-cam that I have seen. It is looking great and you seem so happy and content. I am so happy for you. My husband and I love your videos and we love Jax. We are also cat people. Love the remodel.

Yes this sounds great
Wow Erick That was awesome transformation!! Thanks for the code too!!
Put the bolts back in the holes you might need them later.
Definitely a long video but well worth it. Love all the new changes I was kind of hoping that you were going to do a step-by-step installation of the dish but something that I would definitely be doing thanks so much for the video

I pray to see more videos like these. Indoor Indoor and more Indoor activities.
I wish I could be as smart as you. You see I'm 67yr old and a widow, all this technology is beyond me. My husband was like you he could fix and figure out things. But I still will be hitting the road in December. So very happy for your accomplishments. Happy Trails.

The perfect setup imho, it truly has a comfortable home look now. Another great video Eric.
Glad you made it your own. That is as different as night and day! Love it!
U should of got one of those fireplace under tv storage things.
Wandering Fore, that would be cool (or hot, lol) but I think Eric like the storage capabilities.
Hey Eric, save one of the drawers for Jax.
Wow Eric! Glad you are finally making it your own!
Guys and their gadgets! I gave up tv over 10 years ago, however I've replaced it with TH-cam. Once an addict, always an addict I guess. I just knew the day would come when you'd start tearing out stuff and remodeling Miranda. You're happy, and that's all that matters.
Oh, and I like long videos from you so no need to apologize! Pretty sure I’m not alone on that....
Don't forget to measure your new vehicle height with the dish up there.👍👍👍
Looks great Eric.
Why not make your home comfortable. Jax and you deserve it. You have got some great ideas!
I have to say this is one of my favorite videos I have watched of yours. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Those drawers look great. It looks just like the inside of a house. :-)
Next accessory, one of those fold-up TV dining trays.
Massive Improvement......congrats
Cool upgrades, more space.
You have to have a lot of cojones to take all stock stuff and making it your own. You are the man!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😀👌🏻
Thanks for the Bluetooth speaker promo code!!! I'm excited to to be getting it, have been in the market for a one sense July 2019. Also, love the video's & the upgrade is sweeeeeeet.
I'll share a picture on my IG & give a shout-out when I have it.
Wow at first I thought big mistake to take out the tablebut now that I've seen it done it looks beautiful and it looks more like Eric
Oh wow that looks incredible! I love these kind of videos too! 😍 What comes next? Your work area?
Yes. office conversion. Bunk beds are coming out as we speak. :)
@@nomadicfanatic yess! Can't wait to see that next project in progress 😊

Great way to utilize space! Always enjoy your enthusiasm. Scritches for Jax. 💖
I was wondering if you put the couch on same side as the steps, and TV on other side of RV with dresser, you'd be adding more functionality because steps prevent you from using that area. You would never need to use slide either. I totally agree with trading dresser and drawers for unused dinette
Wow! This was perfect for my purposes. Both of these projects were on my radar.
Very nice upgrades for your home. Hard work rewards a happy life for you and Jax.
You need to show RV people how to design campers for single
It looks real nice and now it looks like you have an entertainment center underneath that TV
Jax has a drawer, my camera gear has a drawer, and now I have 4 more drawers to fill. lol.
Looks great! You could go to Walmart and get a small area rug for that area in front of your new entertainment area. It would look cool too! Maybe a Navaho design or something you like. Your favorite team. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Remodel looks great. I agree simple is best. Make it as automatic as possible.
I like your entertainment center. You know how to play dude.
Major clever additions are very interesting to watch. You are a smart entertaining guy.
This is so Eric. You haven't owned an RV or van you haven't remodeled to make your own. Thumbs up! (:
Get a rug to cover those holes. Simple easy fix and it looks nice. Plus Jax would probably love it over the hard floor.
All your videos are good, but these are my favorite type of video, the mods or how to type. I love seeing the finished result.
There's nothing wrong with making his RV look and feel more like a real home inside. I personally would of added a half way up divider partition wall between the dresser and the RV door to cover the seat belt holes using 2 X4 wood frame then add drywall or wall board to complete the divider wall then paint to finish.
