Good day! I just wanted to stop by and say I love your art so much! All of the paintings have such a nice look to them, they are truly beautiful! Love the content you are doing, keep it up!
The model's eyes and lips are immaculate with some lush dimensions of cool and warm tones that look pleasantly painterly accurate, accessible, vibrant and professionally executed. And I love how Alpay smooths in that blue shadow here and there which is just tonally strange and still perfect, but perhaps chromatically too in your face if your are a strong realist. Personally, I love this interpretation and style.

Alpay! Thank you for doing this! It's a lot of work to just set things up to film in this way. So glad you uploaded for re-watch... Lamentably, I was at work while the live stream was happening. I love the painting so far, and can't wait to see it after the destruction/reconstruction phase. Will you be posting the finished piece on instagram? I assume so, but don't like to make assumptions.☺

What if every thing I learned, I learned myself... going to fine arts school? Jeez. What a let down. You are so good. Imagine those of us who couldn't afford fine arts school. DARN.
3:16:37 I think she smiles with the same optical trick as Mona Lisa: if you focus on her eyes, the blind spot is on the edge of the mouth, and the brain / mind interpolates and puts a little smile there, which goes away / lessens when you look directly at it.
On the other hand: she doesn’t really look at the viewer. Maybe I just needed to drop that theory (- I didn’t make it up, I heard about it a long time ago). I guess one could reverse engineer the spot one has to look at, to make the blind spot land on the lips; might also depend on the angle it is viewed from / how far away the viewer is and how high the picture gets hung on the wall.
I feel I need to say "All" of the parts of a painting is important unless you vignette the subject, but then still the outside shadows are part of the piece and important.

How i wish to be like you pure and patient while making an artwork..I'm an artist too but not to much smooth and fine. And i hope i could find the best technique in doing painting

It's good to see the longer version of you painting as it gives a better sense of the actual time it takes and also how much thinking is needed before each stroke.
I am wondering though whether the comments and your replies during livestream distract you or slow you down in your 'normal process'. Do they?

Actually I do know how much stuff is around you and what all it takes to do these sessions as Jazza did a video on his setup. It's a ton of stuff that costs lots of money!

Who cares what people think, I love your work and I know algorithms mean something but paint toucans paint birds. You may not think you’re a teacher but demos do teach es-eucalyptus with those of us that are so visual. It doesn’t matter what you paint you share good stuff. Just wish I had your skills.

I think you can set your notifications to "all". But you can also follow me on Instagram or become a patreon where I always announce them well in advance

Have any of you questioned whether you actually love creating art or not? I feel like I would be putting in all of my time and effort into it if I did. Sometimes I want to just burn all of it and move on, but it has stayed with me throughout my entire life. Maybe this question is better suited somewhere else, I'm just really having some doubts.

Linseed oil works and so does walnut oil, which yellows less.

@@danartsjpg there are many options for glazing. Walnut oil makes a nice glaze because it yellows less. But it takes a while to dry. Some people like liquin or Galkyd because they dry faster.
