Does drake make popular hits for the club? Yes. But everything Kendrick puts out is awesome and well made. I think of Drake like Taylor Swift. Their music is easy for the mainstream music scene to accept, their topics are not controversial (like Kendrick’s commentary of police brutality), and they have a large fan base. But when generations pass and we talk about people who made influential hits and used their voice to talk about real shit, Kendrick will be the first mentioned along with Tupac and Biggie. He is in that league of fame imo.
