Just heard this for the first time today and it stopped me dead in my tracks.. the lyrics word for word hit harder than a 10 ton hammer. Some say move on.. it's the only way but apparently those people have never found the one .. You don't move on from that no matter how much you try.. some of us just move on with everyday life but our hearts stay right where they are broken on the floor and that's just the way it is. After 28 year marriage this is where I am its absolutely heartwrenching I heard this song for the first time a few minutes ago it hits home when theres nothing you can do to fix it everyone says get up shake it off don't think about it but until ya go through this mess I truly don't think its understood. I want them to so badly quit that there's been years growing up that I wanted to commit suicidal actions, but I decided not to because how much I know how much God loves me. First time hearing this song today, it is truly beautiful. There are no words to describe what a person goes through in each of their lives as we all deal with things differently...…when you meet the one that sends electricity through your every thought and body and can not bare to live without and when that time comes that you have no choice but to live without for death is destruction like no other, you learn to fake your way through the rest of your days. I met my husband, best friend my very existence at 14 and we shared 27 years together before death destroyed everything I ever knew....who am I without him? - I'm still trying to figure that one out. It was been 8 years and there's no moving on, I'm stuck in time where my children and close family and the grace of God Almighty, have somehow managed to help me live without living. My heart n soul have shattered for part of me went with him on that unimaginable day....I pray for all those who have lost a loved one, who's lives were shattered beyond imagination or who have been devastated by a breakup...Words are just words, never say to one grieving "you need to move on" for some there is no such thing. I wish I had more time, more time to have loved him longer, hold him tighter and continued to whisper sweetness to him....

I know this is about people in a relationship but when I first heard it, for me, it reminded me of my brother. He was my bestfriend, the only man my kids knew & could look up to... in our 34/35 years on the planet, there wasn’t a day that went by I didn’t see him. He never let my calls go to voicemail and was there for me just like I was for him. He was an amazing dad to his girls, son, uncle, friend... but he was my twin & such an extension of myself that even after 4yrs, it’s still hard for me to get up in the mornings. Ziggy, I don’t know you but I can tell you the worst thing you could ever do is Suicide my husband did that in 2016 and I still struggle with it every day and we were married guaranteed he was in the Army and had PTSD but if you ever need to talk I am ASIST certified through the Army and I do talk to anyone that may need help and I show my certificate, Unfortunately I couldn’t help my husband and I have what they call survivor’s remorse.But if you want to talk I am here.
