- Hey thereeee everyone!
After a lot of requests I've done a short Pharmacy video answering the questions that were sent to me on Instagram. I talk about the positives and negatives of working as a Pharmacist. What I studied and how I entered into the degree. Was it worth it? Did Love Island impact it?
It was my first video without Mandi and it felt sooo awkward doing it but I hope you guys enjoy it :)

I love how this makes people realize how multi-faceted you are and not just a ‘reality tv star’. It’s really inspiring cause your don’t have to just 1 profession. 💕🤗

A S If ure doing pharmacy for money u will not want to do it. The same with all other jobs. If u are going into healthcare u will feel like you are underpaid. All health care professionals say theyre doing their job because they enjoy it. Doctors complain about quality of life so do many others. The advice you should be giving is doo what youu wanttt. U dont want to enter healthcare for money

Is it worth it ? I’m considering it but it’s so much debt and difficult and the pay isn’t the best
@@Zayna_x the pay is very good with pharmacy. Locum nurses get paid upto 300 a day!

If you're genuinely interested- check out Ali Abdaal. He's a former Cambridge Medic who has probably the best study tips (backed up with scientific evidence) on youtube- he's personally responsible for me getting top marks in multiple subjects at law school. Definitely worth checking out

Hey Anna! Im a hospital pre-reg and I absolutely LOVED this video! I think you’ve bought so much positive publicity to pharmacy and you really sound like you like the profession. I love that you’re not just a pretty face and that you have the Pharmacist title it makes you so dynamic. This video makes me proud and excited to eventually (god knows when) become a pharmacist
I want to do pharmacy at uni but I’m heavily conflicted. Obviously no degree is easy but I’m so scared that I won’t cope and how difficult it will be idk what I should do if I can cope
@@Zayna_x There have been students who say that they struggle but when they put themselves in a calmer mindset they performed better, e.g. @8:36. I guess it’s really down to working hard, staying on top of things, taking care of your mental health and enjoying university. There are pharmacists vloggers that say they definitely struggled when they were doing the degree but once they got through, they share their experiences and enjoy life as a pharmacist. I recommend watching pharmacist vlogs

Would you be able to make a video on how you revised throughout your prereg year and how you divided your time aka how long to spend on each subject? Whether its useful attending conferences etc. I also think it would be really useful to do what you mentioned in your video like one video on immune system, skin, etc

Hey! This video is so useful but I have a question: I am considering becoming a pharmacist but, like you at the beginning, I'm not currently heavily interested in it. I am currently deciding between doing pharmacy and either mental health or adult nursing but I want to do a career in something that has a good balance and focus between mental health care and chemistry. Does pharmacy suit this description in your opinion or do you think that adult or mental health nursing is more suited for that criteria?? Any opinions will help!
