The West supported and propped up the Sha of Iran who was a dictator. At that time Iran was pro West. The people dressed and acted western and wanted rights and democracy like the West. The West - mostly USA and Britain - supported this monarchy and dictatorship which they could control versus a democratic population. Cold war thinking versus promoting countries based on western values. The average well balanced person isn't the type to overthrow a dictatorship backed by the superpower of the USA in those decades. Fairly predictably, radical elements gained enough power to lead the insurrection against this dictatorship. These were radical Islamic elements. Which won by having a holy revolution. Then of course to stay in power they have to maintain a holy revolution. Which means always being under threat from the west. Or at least maintaining that narrative. A narrative which the USA has been eager to participate in. Sort of a self defeating foreign policy from the western point of view. There still isn't a coherent policy on this from the USA. A coherent policy would be strategy to support the Iranian people to purge themselves of the radical Islamic elements and become a prosperous and free multiparty democracy. There is no such plan from USA. USA's policy is Iran = bad.

Do corporate accountants just wake up one day and figure out that they're broke? THe Pinnacle bought the Cabells and shut it down. Now, the locals mall went belly up just about the time he. Crooks announced building the Pinnacle. So in Virginia, we paid for nine acres of busting up rocks and likely it was our money that bought cabellas. Anaythibg ekse is socialism, just keep repeating that. Soon, stores at The Pinnacle. (That I said would do nothing but shut down the mall) are closing left and right and NOT because of Corona. In fact, these crooks had started another ripoff project just 11 miles away in Bones Creek and what stores thought they could stay alive, we're not allowed to leave the Pinnacle. Don't worry. Just the employees will suffer. The executives even got raises. Ron Ramsey was the Lt Vernon for 23 years. Now he is pushing through these huge ripoff with his al named Daniels. All they did was close the mall. A casino wants to buy the mall and open a casino and build a hotel. But the voters in the area don't like that gambling because of Jesus and all that, most corrupt area in the country after Huntvi.lle AL
