Last scene ki wajah se crowd Kamal Hasan ke like pagal ho gaya tha. It was extremely tragic end that touched the audience heart. I Don think the total box office collection was ever recorded correctly because in those days data didn't include small town collections. It was a huge hit even in small towns.

😂1981 मे मेरी उमर 14 साल थी तब यह फिल्म के गाणे लाऊस स्पिकर सुनते थे यह गाणे शादी उत्सव यात्रा मेला मे सुनने को मिलते थे यह गाणे सुनकर बहुत प्रेमी युगल पागल हो गयं थे खास कर कॅलेज के लडके लडकी जादा शामील थे फिल्म का असर इतना बडा के कही युगल ने अत्महत्या किया था ' ।

Great episode about ek dujhe ke liye.Rati Agnihotri and Kamal Haasan who were popular in south cinema became overnight stars in hindi cinema with this film. All the songs of this film are memorable. Especially my most favorite song is Satyam Shivam Sundaram in the lift. I always used to wonder after listening that song, if this song is made up of combining all the titles of different movies, and then after listening for the second time my doubt was clear because there was not a single word in that song which was not a title of any Hindi movie. It was genius of Laxmikant-Pyarelal, SP Balasubhramaniam and Anuradha Paudwal. Other songs with SPB and Lata ji were also good. Thank you for making episode of Ek Dujhe Ke liye Rakesh Bhai. ❤❤❤
