Once again thank you for extending the time period for submissions for the competition, and thank you for the competition itself. It finally gave me the motivation I needed to make something.
I am a dinosaur nerd and always have been. I would say the complete disregard of scientific accuracy is what makes this transformer really shine. The movie and toy versions all look too busy, but this really has some classic megazord/mechagodzilla vibes which I really enjoy. Clear shapes, chunky proportions and a fun color scheme. Looking for things to criticize would be needless nitpicking. Robotic dinosaurs don't need to be accurate and the science on spinosaurus is not all that clear either, so there are two very good reasons to just do whatever you want and have fun with it. 😊 This is a great build on all counts and I'd definitely enjoy seeing more dinosaurs from you in the future.
An idea to create two transformers is to make like skids and mudflap in ROFT, that one transforms at the front of the vehicle and the other at the rear.
Just saw the video and I gotta say that the robot mode and transformation really make up for the lack of the aquatic tail. Also with all of the dinobots being based off of inaccurate dinosaurs based on the time period, It makes sense for the dinosaur mode to be an old representation of the spinosaurus!
Great build! If you were to just change the color scheme to red, you would get the a pretty good representation on the Thundersaurus Megazord from power rangers
Here’s a bit of a challenge. Imagine if this Bub did transformers of Kaiju, like Shin Godzilla, Eva Unit 01, Gigan etc. I’m curious how’d he’d do those.
the reconstruction with a spinosaurus walking on four legs was remade in 2020 , so your version looks pretty plausible , except that the original has a long and narrow muzzle , like a gavial

YES YOU MADE THE SPINOSAURUS MY FAVORITE DINOSAUR. AND EVEN THOUGH THE DINO MODE DOESN'T HAVE THE AXOLOTL-LIKE TAIL, I STILL LOVE IT.

The inverted slope peices come in that on Beatles yellow submarine set aswell, it’s a pretty good set I have it
