You shouldn't judge screen quality solely based on brightness, there is something called colour, and samsung's amoled provides better colours than any other smartphone company despite being little short on brightness. Hell, even my old samsung galaxy j7 nxt's display is better than today's moto g71 oe g31.
We should also consider the fact that it is an upgrade over A52 and not A52s and samsung might launch A53s, So it would be better if we compare A52 against A53 and not A52s against A53.

Samsung does this to save more on profit . As exynos is their own chip and snapdragon they shud pay out. Also they have good to control on their chip to improve camera performance by updates probably is my guess

One..these A series Amoled are mediocre with 800 nits of peak...comparing competetion has 1200 nits max in 20K budget...& Surprisingly has a samsung amoled in chineese device but of better quality. in auto that will kill samsung A series display...

Definitely it's not a flagship display on A53, but it's indeed better than Note 11 pro+. Chinese vendors have better touch sampling rate, more resolution etc but can you say they've better Display against something like iphone 13 etc? NOPE!
