I love these recaps. The video-editor adds some really nice "special effects" and Lulla's commentary is so common-sense and correct, so it all fits together very well. Where I see Lulla progressing is better calculation skills, leading to more confidence and recognition that what she already knows is usually right on target. Calculation requires some patience and looking for absolute best moves, but if it's directed by that terrific common-sense, it will pay off big.
So glad you found Qh4. That popped in my head very quickly. Being on the look out for killer intermezzos ("zwichesnzugs") during forcing lines or sharp lines is one of the tools that have really made me better as a chessplayer. Think you played a very active, principled game with a harmonious army (sort of the ideal in a Isolated Pawn middlegame). I think ...f5? was a positional error on his part and gave you a lot more targets with his small "hanging pawns" in the centre. Congrads on the win. Out of a banquet of a lot good continuations, some more winning than others, one of them being "only up the exchange" is a great problem to have. Much better than last round where you feel like you're just banging your head against a brick wall of an opponent's superior tactical or positional acumen and there's no way you're getting through--the loss feels like a pre-scripted bad TV movie (I've been there playing ranked masters). This should give you a boost going into Rd. 9!
I think any loss you learn from, especially the painful ones can have as much value as a win. (Apart from the zero points bit). That's true generally, you learn more from screw ups. But what a response against a higher rated player!! That was a sharp game, so much stuff going on,I always like watching the fireworks you tend to get in these miniatures. Awesome, look forward to the next one,if it turns into a 7 hour endgame that will be a daunting recap

Sooooo true that being only up the exchange is a great problem to have!! Still, I’m glad I found Qh4 too… if I hadn’t I’d have been kicking myself
Well Done! 🎉
Good game, and good luck on your final game tomorrow!
greek gift: (naval tactic) you tempt an enemy ship to board your trireme, and when they get close, you sink them with a "gift" of greek fire (q.v.)

Good job and 97% accuracy is crazy 👏🏽
I like the way your chess continues to improve. My own chess stays in the same range for some years. I think the change to 1 e4 worked well for you.
I agree I think e4 made a big difference
Luigi got sorta instantly famous after Anna’s stream(s). Feel like there’s prob some more Luigi stories.(lol) As usual, enjoying the recaps.
Great win !! ;)
Very stylish indeed. Well done.
