I've never brought from Greebo and gonna be honest I haven't ordered nothing from the Continent for a while.......I really like that New Norse Star Player they have
They also got beer pigs (boars). Just the new positional is atm hard to find. But they required 1 week after gw to bring the boars, so let us talk about it again in September. I expect an greebo Amazon update/Upgrade for blockers then, too
Another great vid Ben - I actually bought into the Jackass Killers Kickstarter BUT the Norse version as I really liked their version incl. Beer Boars and a ferocious looking Yeti. I Like those with the bone elements for some reason (throwback to Skeletor or maybe even General Kael from Willow lol)
My current Zons are from Hungry Troll. Post-Apoc "Nuke Girlz" with a nice mix of punk/Mad Max design. Full positionals, so if you can't make a decent team out of the new GW box I can turn my 2 catchers into whatever they need to be. If the GW box is complete, I have a Necromunda ogryn to turn them into a human team instead.
I'm getting a mix of Greebo & Waia Amazons for the humans in a College of Heavens team... think they'll look really nice alongside Brutefun's Saurus/Skinks

Yeah it's pretty niche. 80s Blood Bowl of course was a bit cyberpunk, but then moved away from it. While the Nuke Girlz are cyberpunk dialled up to 11. 😁
My issue with most 3rd party Amazon teams is they try to be sexy and come across as just Fan-servicy in a way that makes me think the sculptures have never seen a woman. I really appreciate that the GW ones look like actual athletes who could take on Black Orcs and Ogres.
I really agree with this. If anyone has ever seen a female athlete they aren't big breasted miss America super models. Their broad shoulders, muscle, and a true show of lean strength 💪 and GW delivered for me. Their strong, beautiful and ready to smash some heads on the astrogranite!
If blood bowl were an actual sport.. I think there would be other moral issues. And it's a fantasy setting - which leads to the logic part, something such as a skeleton with its very low weight would have a whole range of issues if we'd try to apply physics and argue with logic. In short: I'd have no issue with a team of female athletes that have a slimmer build than would be logical and with armor that looks sexy. That said - most 3rd party teams are pretty horrible imho and the way it's done is somewhat offensive and very primitive, which I find disappointing.
Honestly I'm very excited and happy about how the new amazons look. Regardless of their skills I will love the new team. For the most part GW has been good with not sexualizing female models for the past few years. In fact their very forward with making them strong and not conventionally "pretty". their women. They come in all shapes and sizes. And the Aztec theme is rad. I'm excepting them to do something similar with norse where majority will have dodge but some key players with have other skills to help round out the team.

I'm loving the Claverd3d Greek Amazon team, but worrying a little about how to convert it to whatever the new positionals are.
