Just wanted to say, super awesome and I think accurate video. As an introvert, so many things resonated with me.

I'm an extrovert (ENFP) and I've always been attracted to introverts, and they've been attracted to me.
One of the main reasons they like me is that I'm extroverted enough to reach out for them and not go too extroverted to the point of making them uncomfortable.
With that said, the thing that hurts me the most about introverts is that a LOT of the time I don't really know what they feel about me.
As an extrovert I like it when things are shared and as a feeler emotional connection is so important for me, introverts seem to really have their walls up before creating any connection especially emotional.
This video encouraged me to talk to one of my best friends who's an introvert (ISFJ) and discuss this very topic with him.
Great video and please do more on Introverts/Extroverts dynamic!

Omar Hawari I’m an ISFJ too, don’t be worried about what your introverted friends think about you, I know an ENFP, and I tried to date them, so don’t worry about it (that’s the first person that I genuinely felt feelings for)

I’m an INTJ, and I completely understand where you’re coming from, especially as my T means that I am generally not very in touch with and am not good at recognizing my and other’s emotions. It’s hard for me to interact with other people outside of my normal small group as I have a hard time empathizing and helping others with their emotions, which makes me come across as rude or cold to those that don’t know me well. I tend to make decisions without even thinking about how my and other’s emotions will come into it, focusing more on how to do something the most effective way I can. Social interaction is haarrddd...

I'm an ENFP here trying to understand better an INTJ I've started to date. I find she never initiates texting or planning a date. Do you like it when an extrovert takes the lead, literally, all the time? Or do you occasionally like to reach out?

Hey, I can totally relate to losing energy around people. Even though the definition of extravert is that you gain energy from interaction, it's a fine balance. It took me a long time to realize I was an extrovert, and the only reason I know I am is because functionally, I know I either lead with Ne or Se (that's still up in the air). But I'm surely a gatherer haha. Anyways, I just wanted to put it out there that E's get tired by being around people too- just because someone leads with an extroverted Jungian function does not mean that they are outgoing and love to be around people. I learned this recently and it really clicked for me. That's why someone can be an ESTJ in Myers-Briggs but classify themselves as an introvert- their Te is focused on efficiency and time value and they don't want people getting in the way. I know this wasn't video wasn't about MBTI I just thought I'd put this info out there because I found it really interesting when I learned about it. As an INFJ, do you find that using your Fe tires you out, even when you're not around people? Like, say you were in your room getting alone time, but your mind started wandering to your relationships and how you might be able to improve them or better understand someone. In that situation, you'd be using Fe but you'd be using it in your head and on your own. Would that take energy away from you?

ENFP here. INFJs and INTJs are two of my favourite personalities and I feel like I learn a lot here. I'm actually not annoyed giving introverts time. But I struggle with the balance of reaching out too much or not enough. I need introverts to compromise and just be honest with me if I'm contacting them too much.

I wish I watched this video sooner. ENFP here. This video makes sense! Originally, when I was texting with my introverted friends and they became quiet all of a sudden, I thought I had offended them in some way. In hopes of restoring my friendship, I would quickly apologize and leave them alone. Now, I feel bad for doing that to my introverted friends. I will make sure to give them alone time in the future.

This video, "hey extraverts, stop judging us (wrongly) and let us be ourselves", said in the nicest way possible. To be frank, extraverts judge and try to make us like them because their brains aren't capable of understanding ours. We can understand them, but they cannot understand us, yet they believe themselves to be better and their lifestyle to be better than ours and the right way. To extraverts, as this video hinted at, we are broken people who need to be fixed. When, in reality, the only thing that needs to be fixed are extraverts judging us poorly constantly. This is very tough, because, as I said, their brains just don't get it, you have to repeatedly tell them "no, I'm fine" as Melody said multiple times, and even then they'll still try to bash down your door to get you to conform and be "normal" like them.

A video on conflict would be great, as it's something that we as introverts generally try to AVOID it means that we can sometimes not be the best at navigating through it well. One tip I have for keeping in touch with extroverted friends is to put in my schedule to message them two or three days after catching up, because like you I can go a week after catching up with someone just fine but just sending a quick "hey, was great catching up with you, let me know how _____ goes" makes the other person feel really connected, but if I don't write it down I just never do it!
    Ps. Love the shirt!

Thank you for this! I am an extrovert in a family of introverts and it was always a bit of a struggle for me, as I didn’t want to spend time alone when everyone else did. Car rides without talking make me feel like something is wrong. And as a child I was attached to my mom and never wanted to stop playing 🙃

Not quite, they've already done the stats for this. SE asia, middle east, south america and eastern europe are extroverted. Everyone else is primarily introverted.

Introvert here. She's way too facially expressive and intentionally inflates conversation to fill time. Lost interest interest at the 0:40 mark.
