What I love of the trilogy is the variety each game adds. Crash 1 starts linear as a whole, Crash 2 has more secrets and more backtracking in-levels and Crash 3 adds the power ups to all that :P It was a very good idea to play the trilogy before Crash 4, you can really appreciate the evolution of the games :P
You literally have to try to fail the boulder and hog levels. Youre just constantly going normally so its real easy. Youd have to purposely miss the time crates
Yeah I got platinum on Hog Wild first try and was surprised 😂 and whole hog only took a few tries. The only other platinums I have are the boulder levels, it's on my bucket list to get them all someday but I don't really want to right now lol.

Actually I got the platinum in Sunset Vista by accident I meant to take the gold one and I got the platinum if you ask me I didn’t break a sweat doing the time trial for Sunset Vista
@@Rani-ci2wb Vista is a very lenient Plat, basically the entire challenge comes from just getting through the level without dying, which is why it's pretty common to get Plat on accident even if you only care about Gold.
Platinum Crash 1 *sweats nervously*. Caddicarus made a list of which levels, in his opinion, are the hardest to plats in most of the Crash games. Good luck on getting them though, gonna be fun watching you get them.

I’m doing the gold relics and let me tell you, the high road, and the lab are insanely difficult I just got the relic for high road yesterday and I’m only missing the lab as well as stormy descent.
lab wasnt too bad for me. high road too about a week all in and stormy assent was a complete joke. couldnt even finish the level nevermind a relic roughly 9 months all in as i started in October.
Stormy Ascent is the only gold relic I don't have. I played for a total of 6 hours, and I was barely getting to where the final checkpoint box is in normal play. No other level took me more than an hour, and the vast majority didn't even come close to that.
To make the Lab easier jump 3 times on the spot before picking up the clock. Everything on this level runs on a timer so if timed right you should make it through the level easy enough.
Looking forward for you playing Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped (N.Sane remastered version ) until we finally get Crash Bandicoot 4:It's About Time! ^-^

Watching this has made me feel much better about how my own relic run is going. I'm only aiming for holds but for me even that is difficult, I'm at 21/26 on crash 1 right now so this was a huge morale booster
Yesterday, I got the platinum trophies for Crash 1, 2 and 3. I just went for the gold relics. However, I don't have Crash 1 at 100%, and the problem was the Stormy F*cking Ascent gold relic. My friend, if you're going for all the platinum relics, I hope every god is there with you. Good luck 🙌

I will say that the “Hog Wild” and “Whole Hog” levels are probably the easiest to get a platinum relics on, as it’s just avoiding oncoming obstacles and there’s not really any other way you can go any faster.
Using the ropes actually isn't cheating. In fact, when you eventually do The High Road, I think it's mandatory to use the ropes to get a platinum relic because the tortoises slow you down.

Actually Sunset Vista isn't that hard, you can obtain it doing a lot of mistakes and even falling. The problem is that the level is too long, and for most people it's hard to be calm while doing plats
Good luck Lewis, I don't think I'd be able to get a single platinum relic in Crash 1. I've recently started going for Platinum Relics in Crash 3, so much trial and error 😛 So far got 15 Platinum relics.
Man, this is triggering some ptsd from back when i tried to get all the platinums, also, here's a tip, don't hold down the jump button on smaller gaps, just tap it, it saves you a couple milliseconds. It doesn't sound like much but it really helps, especially when you have aku aku invincibility.
Well, in this first game I've got all the platinum relics. The worst are definitely sunset Vista, the lab and stormy ascent. The High road after some practice become pretty easy actually. Hey man just letting you know, if you like use your thumb on the in the middle on an angle, hit A, then bring down to top of your thumb to hit almost instantly X so you jump and spin almost at the same time, and that will always get the centre box of those 3 stacks.
It took me a while to get all the platinum relics in all 3 games. It’s very satisfying when you get them but you have to suffer a lot of pain on the way! Haha

I'd have to agree, when I did my first full run through Hog Wild in Time Trial mode I got platinum. I didn't see that coming at all.

The rope is a pain to get on though. I managed platinum without using rope until the turtle sections, turtle jumping is just too slow.

Yeah, High Road took over 2 hours, the Lab was ok, not easy though
