the mud actually helps to protect animals against the sun, that's also why pigs that are kept in an outdoor cage where they're not allowed to roll in mud can turn crimson red and get major health problems if it's sunny, as mud is basically nature's sunscreen, so there might be a physiological explanation for so many animals instinctively rolling around in the dirt when they get wet, maybe animals have a "don't get sunburnt instinct" of sorts
Jaguars are like apex predators of apex predators. Any animal that can jump in a river with a crocodile and come up victorious is an animal to be revered.

Think again. I just looked into her "company". It's a roadside zoo in Florida and I am disgusted by some of the information I found out. In 2021 15 animals in her care died within a 14 month period! There have been multiple violations against the animal welfare act, these poor animals are not being cared for. Please remember that it is easy to portray yourself any way you want to online. These cat's are the most beautiful and deadly in the world. But, they absolutely adore safari Sammie, she is also amazing and very loving to them... kudos to you safari Sammie!
i know i've said this before, but i really do hope to interact with a big cat like this someday. i've always admired how powerful they are and yet how keen their control over their own bodies is. they're so damn elegant, and-- i don't want to say gentle, cause i don't think that's right? They're totally in control of themselves and even then you can feel how strong they are. seeing the non-human shows of trust and respect is really-- weirdly comforting for me as an autistic person? reminds me it's okay to show emotion differently from others. and as much as i use these guys for inspiration writing beasties and monsters in my fantasy writing, i'd love to actually _feel_ what it's like to encounter that power and grace for myself in person. hoping one day i'll be able to tour or volunteer somewhere that's an option.
Tank is my favorite big cat on the internet. Has he sired any babies/cubs? His chill personality would be great to pass on to future babies, especially if the mom is chill too!

I remember when my sister had a birthday party and she had a HUGE tiger at the party and I was so terrified of the big cat but it was so friendly. Granted I was sitting right by the cats head and it was sniffing me so that didn't help. Good times 😂

Jaguars have a sanctuary in the snowy Sierra Madre in Mexico. They are perfectly fine living/hunting at 2000 meters/6600 feet.
