Even without watching the movie "Saving private Ryan", this piece of music & performance is so touching in my heart that everytime I listen to it my eyes will turn red and wet. Thanks to the brave soldiers, men & women, of USA for fighting against the evil nations to bring peace to mankind.
I lost a high school classmate and friend in Vietnam. This song is for you my friend: Sgt. Fidel J. Aguirre, 75th Ranger Regiment, KIA March 10, 1969 Republic of South Vietnam. Never forget the sacrifice laid upon the alter of freedom.
🙏❤🙌🙏
I have an extreme disliking for the people who don't like this very emotional, and beautiful piece.
tailless cat productions Same
Absurd response. It doesn't take much for you to dislike someone, does it? Interesting, considering the music.
I hear ya.
I played this arrangement in an orchestra I'm in. What a beautiful piece!
Listening to this in time for memorial day
The first time I heard this song I started to cry. Such strong sound in this piece!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I want to play this for my junior band students!
Beautiful Sound Production (Ensembles).... and Lights!
Exceptional performance. The ensemble and choir honors my country...USA May 25, 2020.
This is too good
Very well play choir and orchestra.
If this doesn't touch you deep,you're...dead. wow.
Interesting comment considering this is in respect for war dead. Think, fool.
Precioso!
Playing the trumpet soli tomorrow! 😁🐯
Geweldig gedaan. Dirk gij was ene goeie 😢
Missing the violins big time
Where's the strings & what's with all the rit's???
This orchestra is not a symphony but a harmony orchestra (meaning no string instruments but just woodwinds, brass instruments, and percussion instruments).
In a harmony orchestra the violin section has been replaced by a large section of clarinets (woodwinds).
Stuart Grandquist Rol Romper just to note, in Australia (and the USA as far as I'm aware) we call these ensembles a number of different things: wind band, wind orchestra, wind symphony, or concert band (and probably a few other names). Some say there are subtle difference in usage, and perhaps many people adhere to these differences, but they're all similar in instrumentation.
