Although we often see awakening as the end of the search, the recognition to our true nature is just the beginning of an authentic spiritual life. The embodying of this recognition starts from that moment.
Shakti Caterina Maggi points directly to the essence of what we are and invites us to rediscover the divine Self in the core of our own humanity. Overcoming fear and illusion is to wake up to the extraordinary beauty of the moment and be the true embodiment of Consciousness itself in human form. She has been sharing a message of awakening to Life since 2003 with seminars and retreats held mainly in Italy and Europe.

I am reminded of the answer Sri Ramana Maharshi gave when asked by a devotee; "how should we treat others?" Bhagavan replied "there are no others." Caterina you have quickly become my favored source of truth which gives me wisdom and strength. A great talk and a truly beautiful messenger. ♥

if that were true then caring for ourselves is like caring for others, and i feel the difference like a reformed codependent

What stunning clarity. The insight at 15 of the path from the innocence of the child born in Oneness to the wounded adult is the basis for my entire energy healing practice ~ Brilliant!

When shakti talks about the flickering of awaking in and out of duality its very beautiful like a candle caught in the wind and flickering. The wind being feelings of guilt and fear for embracing nondual awareness in the face of so much suffering, fear and pain we see outside ourselves. Sometime its like others are saying to us how dare you awaken! You have to suffer and fear like us so that we are not alone or rejected. This type of wind can feel very savage, no wonder we flicker. One of the hardest challenges is "recognising the pain of rejection" that people do to themselves and that appears to happen with each other.

Thank you Shakti, for bringing forward the feminine side of embodied awakening (funny the word died appear in that word). I have found immense help with all that you say and I have been able to welcome the darkness and shadows parts of me in the light of awareness, in my body more and more. And I feel it dissolves them and with it, it is dissolving the false sense of the egoïc I. The release is happening more and more instantaneously and I am really glad I found guidance in you talking about it. This embodiement and welcoming in awareness is the liberation for which we all long for. I also felt very touched when you mentionned that when we heal, it is not personnal since there are no individual. It expanded some more the sense of it not being about “me” which is non-existent and it gives “me” courage to move deeper and deeper in acceptance and welcoming, knowing that it is healing “us”.

"A sensible student does not depend on his teachers words, but uses his own experience to find the truth." ~ Bodhidharma
The man who knows not, but knows not that he knows not, is a fool; avoid him.
The man who knows not, and KNOWS that he knows not, is a student; teach him.
The man who knows, but knows not that he knows, is asleep; awaken him.
The man who knows, and KNOWS that he knows, is a teacher; learn from him.
    ~ Sufi Proverb
It is up to you to decide which one she is.
    Good luck!

To intervene in the path of others unquestioningly by citing wise words, in turn, is a subtle but quite visible strategy of keeping oneself separate from others ... cause ... fear in the master (?)

Yes. It gets funnier. Weird as it may sound I meet him regularly now around a campfire late at night in my dreams. He still gets me falling for another one of his flippin stupid thoughts, stupid opinions or beliefs that he feeds me. I got to tell you Jake, each time I spot another one of these, I give this really big ugly sad looking dude a big hug. Seems alot of folks don't like him cause he seems so evil. The dude is so misunderstood and just needs a hug for do'in his crappy job!
