Checking the possibility of connecting rear view camera - Octavia III (Mk3, 5E)

Based on the information from the online forums about cars of the VAG group, we checked whether the reverse camera will work in our Octavia. Similarly, it should work in other cars of the group with control units and infotainment equipment of the same type.
We used a digital camera for checking (the camera should support NTSC standard).
Some changes in the coding of the 5F control module are also required.
Now we are thinking about possible options: the original skoda or other group cars (volkswagen?), or cheap replacements, to see how it works.
After purchasing a camera, we also plan to prepare some video with the process of installation.
