okay, i don't really the the excessive memes getting in the way of the songs, they're kind of funny in an ironic way but i'd like to actually form my own opinion of these. and this seems less like a constructive review and more like a half-assed roast. now onto the songs being reviewed. fancypants' sprites are kind of okay, they're nothing to gawk at. i honestly think that if it was tweaked a bit it could fit the original game's style, but i won't shit on that too much since i know they at least tried and it's tedious asf to compile spritesheets as a solo mod dev atm myself. mainly it just doesn't fit compared to bf and gf's style. the song itself is kind of mid. it's slightly catchy but it's vocal patterns don't do very interesting things. the instrumental is very basic and i don't like it much. for Mario, i like his sprites a lot. they nail the feel the game wants perfectly. the song feels incredibly off though, the vocals and instrumental clash a bit and it feels generally odd, and not in the way they want it to be. Mario's vocals are kind of okay but they don't help mix with the instrumental, and the vocal patterns kind of suck balls. for Megaman, i LOVE the cover, it has a lot of passion put into it and it's very pretty imo. the song itself kinda hurts to hear. it doesn't do retro very well and it uses high-pitched rough instruments which are unpleasant to hear. and Megaman's vocals were barely noticeable. i haven't watched the rest of the video yet so i can't cover any more and i don't have many more opinions off the top of my head. all n' all, these songs are indeed not very great.
