@@ReedTimmerWxthose Goodyear duratrac tires u had on it were garbage. Up north they are used on logging roads and are constantly punctured by rocks and have 0 traction in mud. I was not surprised you constantly slid in the ditch with them. There are continental tires rated for the weight of a commercial vehicle that will have way better ride and puncture resistant. Keeping them mobile shouldn't be too hard they are just GMC trucks under the body. I would eliminate the electric roll up storm windows for manual slide up ones that are fail proof.
I've waited a long time for this! HEY Dr. Timmer, you should put little tornadoes on the doors under the window for each time a dominator gets inside for an intercept, Like a fighter plane! You could put the rating or make bigger funnel stencils for each Fujita scale. Just an idea, would be awesome!

I remember becoming interested in weather back in kindergarten/1st grade and watching Storm Chasers on Discovery in the computer lab. I loved watching the TIV and Dominator intercept tornadoes and I wished that I could ride in them once. Thank you Reed Timmer for inspiring me and I hope to see you out in 2023 for my first year of chasing!

I remember when I first met you in South Dakota in 2012 and I got some pictures with the dominator in Wall Drug. The storms that week and seeing the dominator really got me into weather. Hope to see you again someday!

I stayed a single night in Norman Oklahoma to trade vehicles with my family across the country. We saw either this vehicle or one like it while there. It was by far the most interesting thing we saw in Oklahoma.
Reed I am a 64 year old lady who lives in a mobile home in Dixie alley. Your advice and chasing videos might well have saved my life a couple times during tornados...so thank you. I have watched the dominators since the introduction of them... I would love a ride in one during a chase...but alas I know thats impossible, so keep making videos so I can at least ride with you all during those! Long live the domintors!!! Keep on chasing!

Is there a gofund or something to help repair these legends? The sponsorship potential of these vehicles is amazing there should be a line up of companies wanting there products and names to be attached to these vehicles for the 2023 season! From lighting to radar and navigation. Tires and fluid additives 😊 is there any possibility of adding starlink through the camera dome? It was pretty useless for any camera footage. I watched the entire Storm and tornado series and like once the dome camera was used. If starlink could connect through lexan to satellite the internet would always be working.

glad to see the dominators getting back on the road when i first saw them. i thought they were the coolest storm chasing vehicles. i still think they are the coolest. I can't wait to see them intercept more tornados.
I've been living in Oklahoma for the last 20 years and first heard of Reed on Storm Chasers. When he joined up with KFOR is about the same time I moved to OKC and I used to see the Dominators in town from time to time. They're kinda famous, but especially so around here. Gary England, David Payne, Mike Morgan, and Reed Timmer were the guys to watch then things turned south. Seeing the Dominators again fills me with such nostalgia.
Sweet!!! Going back to the bread and butter of summer storms, can’t wait for the chase to begin. It the adventure of the intercept regardless of success that keep people glued to the tv and plan around airings of seasons, the sheer aww of one on natures phenomena that is so breath taking along with rendering aid to victims during and after the chase which is a great public service.
Me and my brother who passed away in September watched your Storm Chasers tv series all the time. He was a big weather buff and loved watching the changing weather and recording local records on his station. Nice to see the Dominators back again. My family was on vacation one June and saw 1of the dominaters in Wyoming, my son will start meteorology School at UNC Charlotte fall of 2023. We watched all the storm chasing shows we could. I am glad to see you back out chasing. I had the honor of seeing these and TIV in May 2013 in Norman OK. I was there for disaster relief with the Red Cross. These vehicles are nothing short of an engineering masterpiece.

Jay Leno and Reed shows the performance with Dominator 3 against a jet planes exhaust , the tech into these tested behemoths are pretty impressive , all 3 on chase shows this season has some high category producers of tornadic activity . Reed is back

The biggest thing that drew my eye and made me worry about D2 was the puddle underneath it in the garage. Never good when you see a puddle underneath a vehicle. :(

17 miles per gallon! Dominator 3 at least!

glad to see the dominators getting back on the road when i first saw them. i thought they were the coolest storm chasing vehicles. i still think they are the coolest. I can't wait to see them intercept more tornados.

I've been living in Oklahoma for the last 20 years and first heard of Reed on Storm Chasers. When he joined up with KFOR is about the same time I moved to OKC and I used to see the Dominators in town from time to time. They're kinda famous, but especially so around here. Gary England, David Payne, Mike Morgan, and Reed Timmer were the guys to watch then things turned south.
Seeing the Dominators again fills me with such nostalgia.

Sweet!!! Going back to the bread and butter of summer storms, can’t wait for the chase to begin. It the adventure of the intercept regardless of success that keep people glued to the tv and plan around airings of seasons, the sheer aww of one on natures phenomena that is so breath taking along with rendering aid to victims during and after the chase which is a great public service.

Me and my brother who passed away in September watched your Storm Chasers tv series all the time. He was a big weather buff and loved watching the changing weather and recording local records on his station. Nice to see the Dominators back again. I watch your live streaming video and find it fascinating. Good luck in your future endeavors and please be safe.

My family was on vacation one June and saw 1of the dominaters in Wyoming, my son will start meteorology School at UNC Charlotte fall of 2023. We watched all the storm chasing shows we could. Glad to watch on TH-cam now. Thanks Reed for your passion that made my son to decide to make weather his career. Happy Chasing
I am glad to see you back out chasing. I had the honor of seeing these and TIV in May 2013 in Norman OK. I was there for disaster relief with the Red Cross. These vehicles are nothing short of an engineering masterpiece.

Jay Leno and Reed shows the performance with Dominator 3 against a jet planes exhaust , the tech into these tested behemoths are pretty impressive , all 3 on chase shows this season has some high category producers of tornadic activity . Reed is back

The biggest thing that drew my eye and made me worry about D2 was the puddle underneath it in the garage. Never good when you see a puddle underneath a vehicle. :(
