Ashley Massaro. Remember her. The entire WWE, from the management to the wrestlers and the whole crew turned a blind eye, when she reached out to them to finally take a stand against the corrupt "Mr. McMahon" and all they did was ignore her because they were too busy landing major Hollywood blockbuster roles to risk their "reputation". What a shame.

    1. The woman you see on screen is not Katie, that is Terri Runnels, a female wrestler Kane was dating in storyline at the time.
    2. That is not Kane fucking a corpse live on air, that is Triple H, his rival at the time, in a Kane Mask and a mannequin. The whole thing was fake even in storyline and was just a failed attempt for Triple H to try and provoke Kane.

I was a big fan of the divas, for obvious reasons, as a kid but even then I thought they were too gratuitous with what they put them through on air. It didn't help that they were literally treated like barbie dolls during that era when Ashley spilled the beans that they had to jump through hoops to get any semblance of training for actual wrestling. They had little to no professional training that Ashley and who knows who else got injured during practice.

He also had some weird obsession with bullying Jim Ross. I remember back in 2005 when Jim was written off TV because he had colon cancer, and Vince decided it would be a good idea to write a vignette around it.
Vince played a character called "Dr. Heiny", and he spent the segment pulling things out of Jim's colon like a football helmet and Jim's own head (get it?).
I soured on Vince ever since that moment, and it's even harder to forget considering it aired the night before my birthday. Jim may have been involved in an angle with the McMahons at the time, but it was so ghastly, and the audience had no clue how to react beyond stunned silence.

I think the surprising (like eyebrow raising, not actual shock) thing was finding out actors who were faking a psycho on the screen ending up like that IRL. Cryme Time weren't actual thugs and Undertaker doesn't manage a mortuary... But Paul Bearer DID. So you never know what's a shoot.
Lemme explain: I don't expect Bruce Willis to be a cold blooded action hero in real life, right? Neither I expected Kane being an actual monster who supports russian invasion of Ukraine in realsies. So when Adam Page called him out on that I became a fan of the Hangman. And now I hate chair shots to the head.
Vince being THE CEO psychopath was obvious, but you still don't expect someone being a CARICATURE he plays on TV in real life. Like come on, Joey Ryan was obviously doing a bit... he was doing a bit, right?.. oh no........

The aggression in East-Europe has been entirely coming from NATO day 1, first Regime changing the Ukraine for Zelensky and then attacking East Ukraine with West Ukrainian forces.
There was no invasion, Russia is on the defensive and the war as a whole a sham.
