I live in Thailand and have not been to uk for 20 years, i train kickboxing all days and never cry really. But randomly finding this just took me back to uk 1995/2000 at uni. And yes now i am cry, the uk always had the best music and the sanctuary will always be in my heart.
mate we were at diehard most weekends, and usually down stairs in the techno basement, i can still smell vicks vaporub and poppers when i hear some killer techno from the mid 90s, you could hear hardcore anywhere, but the techno at diehard was so fucking nasty and hard, and the atmosphere in there was amazing, the unity was just magical, sitting by the entrance on one of the speakers chatting shit to literally everyone, that was more or less me at diehard! respect matey!

We had no idea that we had it so good!

I think everyone likes happy hardcore in a way. Even if they won't admit it. You can't not like happiness in my eyes. Some peoe. Will say it's cheesy and that's fair enough. But I think everyone has the love for it somewhere in their bones

Honestly I had so much fun doing this mix, it took forever to sort out but it came out right in the mix, a couple of bad mixes going on but im happy for most of this mix sounds half decent at least! But lets be honest, these tunes are all bangers so even if I missed timed each mix it would still sound alright lol when I get that time machine built, ill let you know, cos I am itching to party again like its the 90s already 😆
