    Interview with an Expert:
    I know everyone negatively commenting on this likes to say they are an engineer, physicist, electrician, professor, and the smartest person in the world when it comes to EMF's, but if you believe this is not hurting you then you are wrong.
    Martin L. Pall, Ph.D., is a Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Basic Medical Sciences, Washington State University, Pullman, Washington. He has been studying EMF's for over 10 years and lectures on how ionizing and nonionizing radiation are both quite harmful to our brains, organs, and cells. See an interview with him here. - • Video

    Thanks for posting this video. I'm an engineer and have been aware of these problems for years. The original test engineer for Motorola's cellphones developed a golfball sized brain tumor right where the antenna was next to his head. All these devices are not healthy, but make the corporations billions. Just proves that business doesn't care about the individual.

      Cell phones have been directly related to acoustic neuromas of the brain and gonal misfunction such as low semen count, and in women cell death of the ovaries, and decline in oogenesis! In men there research in constant gonadal exposure and prostate, it's been strongly correlated to an increase in prostate, and if held to the head ocular (eye) cancer. Most low level radiation can not be detected even with a dosimeter film badge (a badge can only detect .5 rems. Anything lower than that, can not be detected).

    I have had that same meter for the last 20 years - it is excellent! The magnetic radiation you detect is nothing like a magnet (someone who mentioned that), it is the rapid electromagnetic switching of the polar field of the source of the radiation. The meter detects the average power of this harmful field of alternating magnetic poles that has been caused from powerful electric current induced by an oscillation of the North/ South poles. It causes biological interruption of normal electrical current inside of each of our cells and interferes with normal carbon based life form metabolism and regeneration of our biological functions. One constructive criticism I could add is that microwave and millimeter wave radiation can be much more harmful than the magnetic spectrum that happens due to emf generation. This meters microwave setting should have been turned on and held near the microwave oven while it was on. As the magnetron waves are deflected by paddles / plates or internal phasing of the microwave energy, some of the energy goes right through all of the shielding intended to make us think it is being stopped. I have yet to find a microwave that doesn't emit some energy. Most of the ones I've measured, you have to get 5 to 6 feet away as the waves spins around the room to have the meter reading less that the permissible limit (danger zone). I recently purchased microwave ovens for relatives and four that they emitted higher than a few older ones. Scary how manufactures don't care about our safety and chintz out on the shielding. (I don't own a microwave). Please could you mention the danger of microwave radiation and the new millimeter wave radiation from smart meters - sorry I'm new to your channel and maybe you already have or it is mentioned further in the comments than I have read. Respectfully, Michael

      TheArtofUnity.com Great vid... seeing is believing for a lot of people. Lots of ways to mitigate EMFs too... more electron-rich water (higher pH, lower temp, even infared radiated), more DHA in the diet and even Cold Thermogenesis can help. Because we're all living in a pulse EMF world (with more positive charge 24/7), it's draining more electrons out of us. We're all living in a giant microwave now due to cell-towers, and when they upgrade their networks from 3G to 4G, all it means is that we all get more radiation.

      TheArtofUnity.com I love your video. Unlike many of the others who are trying to sell you their product, you seem to care without making money. My question to you is, my frig's back is 15 feet from where my head is in my bed. There's no way around it. I own my home and can't sell it right now. Dr. O* said that distance is the key to protect yourself from EMF. So is 15 feet away from the back a 25 yo Amana frig when I sleep safe? There's no way to move the frig. The way the condo is, that kitchen is custom for the frig to be there. And I do have another room to sleep in. But that room has the circuit breaker, a home theater with 11 speakers, all my computer and peripheral equipment including the U-verse power supply to back the fiber optics in cast the internet goes down. I am expecially worried about the transformer for the power reserve for U-verse. It is sitting 5 ft from my feet. The power strip is sitting 3+ feet from my feet when I'm sitting in front of the IMac. And the corded phone and an unplugged 4 in one printer is sitting 3 feet from my feet. Can my feet be a absorber for those EMF?
      Furthermore, I disabled my Wifi and since then, my headaches while next to my IMac has improved slightly. But to my shock, when I check to see if ATT did it correctly by turning on my wifi...No, I don't see my wifi, but in my HUGE high rise condo, I see at least 20 of my neighbors' networks and prompts me to see more. I can turn off my wifi, by my neighbors don't believe that their wifi is harmful. One of my nearest neighbor who shares a common wall with where I sleep puts her Wifi modem right next to her night stand where she sleeps. And she also has a cordless DECT station about 3 feet from where I sleep. So lately, I have no energy, forgets my own name in the morning. I've even woke up several times not knowing who I am for up to 2 hours!!!!
      What can I do? Do those neutralizers on the market work? If something isn't done, I think my dementia will be 100% in a year. :((((((((

    • @Theartofunity
      @Theartofunity  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear all that. IN the Blog at www.theartofunity.com you will find many solutions. The fridge is probably ok at 15 feet. See the blogs for other options. I like the neutralizers, organite etc.

    • @vettegaddia6234
      @vettegaddia6234 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheArtofUnity.com I watched a Dr. Mercola video in which he puts his hands on a grounding pat, and all the EMF goes to zero. So if I can put my feet on the grounding pad, would that protect me from the neighbor's wireless devices? And formally measured(with a yard stick) and the distance from the frig to my head is about 12 feet, not 15 feet. Is it still ok?

    • @Theartofunity
      @Theartofunity  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe the mat will help, and that video seems to confirm that. And I think that you will be oaky at 12 feet as well.

      Shielding against very high energy Sun-emitted particles is very difficult. To shield against only x-rays (only one of the several kinds of radiation) would require a huge amount of lead, likely making the airplane too expensive to build and fly. Plus some other Sun radiation will shoot through lead like butter. Not gonna happen, Gary.

    How do I protect myself from visible electromagnetic radiation?
    But seriously... the magnetic fields in household appliances are not powerful enough to be a health hazard, not even the most powerful man made magnets have that ability. To get magnetic field powerful enough to effect a person's health would require doing something like standing on the surface of a neutron star... but the intense gravity would crush them into an atom thick smear on the surface of the star long before the magnetism became a problem. The device you have is useful for detecting sources of electromagnetic interference causing problems for other electronic devices. If you did have a device in your house capable of throwing off harmful levels of ionizing radiation over a large area... a swarm of black helicopters from the CIA, DHS, FBI, and DOE would swiftly descend on your location to confiscate it.

I was being facetious about the visible electromagnetic radiation, it's just the light our eyes use to see the world around us. Similar to how dihydrogen monoxide is just called water.
      As many commenters have already stated, the radiation you are detecting with your device is electromagnetic, and non-ionizing. I have one myself for doing electrical work and finding sources of electrical interference. You are using your device incorrectly, as if it were setup to detect ionizing radiation or microwaves, i.e. the bad stuff, which it's not.
      If you want to detect ionizing radiation you need a Geiger counter. A professional quality Geiger counter only costs about $200-300 with an external wand probe. There are some pretty inexpensive dosimeters ($50-100) available with a built-in Geiger counter but are probably not as accurate. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geiger_counter
      If you want to detect microwaves you need a meter specifically designed for that, not what you are showing in the video. There are plenty of inexpensive ($50) microwave leak detectors. I'd recommend a professional quality meter ($200-300) as the consumer grade versions tend to give false positives.
      The magnetism you are detecting from your microwave is probably the powerful electromagnet in the magnetron. Part of the magnetron does generate the microwaves, but that is not the part you are detecting. The metal housing and glass/plastic on the door are designed to keep the dangerous microwaves inside the heating chamber. If what you were detecting were microwaves, you would have instantly felt like your skin was on fire and the water in your body would have started to heat and boil.
      *TLDR*: Without certain forms of radiation we wouldn't even be alive (yes, you are radioactive in several ways, one is thermal). You are misrepresenting all radiation as harmful. Do you want to be part of the solution? Or the problem? Misinformation, even if well intentioned, is still misinformation.

      Celairgil Faenmirion- I understand the current dominant view by scientists is that non ionising radiation is not harmful to humans if at low levels. I’m only beginn Ng to learn about this, so I’m genuinely interested in opinions from people like yourself. Do you not believe that cell phones are causing cancer/tumours at all? It just seems like a topic that has experts on either side debating it, which makes it seem not conclusive yet. And given that there is a limit on the amount of SARS a phone is legally aloud to transmit, doesn’t that make it more probable that there is in fact danger here? Things like being in a car or metal room amplify the radiation due to the reflective nature of metal right? Many houses are lined with aluminium sheeting in the walls for insulation etc.. I dunno, it seems like there is a legitimate concern here, no?

      Why it doesn't cause cancer to ex-cancer patients? Because it doesn't affect the DNA and so cannot affect mitosis. No cancer caused by non-ionizing radiation just proved.

    Even if any of this was true (which it isn't) there are radio frequencies traveling around us and even through us all day every day from all kinds of sources, from radio and tv stations broadcasting at hundreds of thousands of watts, to cell phones and WiFi transceivers from all the people around you. So even if you get rid of your microwave and iPhone you will still be receiving this radiation constantly. Fortunately though this type of radiation is non ionizing so it is not harmful to us.

    Total hogwash. Yes, EM radiation is emitted by many everyday devices. No, this is not all dangerous. What's being measured is not ionising radiation, that means the waves do not have enough energy to alter the construction of molecules. Bear in mind here that standard visible light goes up to about 650THz (blue light) which is quite a high energy and does not cause issues even though there is A LOT of light we are exposed to all day. Problems only begin to arise when the frequency is high enough to cause ionisation which is what UV radiation is, just higher frequency (energy) light. Ionisation is what can cause cancer, elevated levels of natural ionising radiation are observed at higher altitudes as there is less of the earth's atmosphere to protect you from the sun.
    Now, the radiation produced by microwave ovens is 2.45GHz, this is orders of magnitude lower in energy than visible light and therefore well below the point at which ionisation is the problem. Phones and WiFi as an example use similar frequencies around the 0.8 - 5.4GHz range.
    The effect lower frequencies such as that will have is heating - where bonds and atoms vibrate because of incident energy, this is also known as heat. This is not shown to have any adverse biological effects in the low concentrations received at any time in day-to-day life. In fact, it takes A LOT of energy to actually cause measurable heating (such as inside a microwave).

      bee ray That could simply be the effect of sitting in the same position of a long time - like pins and needles. I've not experienced this myself from any reason apart from that and I spend lots of time with a laptop on my lap some days. It's usually fine if I'm not sitting awkwardly.
      Another reason I could come up with would be vibration if it happens to have rather "vibreatey" fans or spinning hard drive.
      Other than those two I can't really come up with anything but since it's not electronic/field related (can't come up with any reason why it should be) it's quite far out of my area of expertise, sorry about that.

    • @CallumAi
      @CallumAi 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Well energy and wavelength are really interchangeable (shorter wavelength (higher frequency) being higher energy) by the Planck-Einstein relation (the equation being E = hf where h is the Planck constant and f is frequency).
      All EM radiation's energy can be deposited in matter, the thing is longer wavelength EM waves are better at going through things without depositing their energy. Otherwise radio would have unlimited range - the reason it doesn't is because over distance the energy is deposited in air or walls, etc. This kind of transfer will simply end up as kinetic energy in the end - heat.
      The anomaly here is that ionising gamma radiation is quite penetrating, despite being shorter in wavelength than visible light (which is obviously not very penetrating). That's a bit more complicated, involving the ionising properties.

    • @CallumAi
      @CallumAi 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** You said they were "correlated" - I didn't take that to mean "perfectly correlated" :P
      But yeah, ionisation is why frequencies above and including UV can become problematic (and penetrating).

    Thank you posting this video. I am looking to purchase a good EMF detector to detect the levels from my cell phone, laptop, pc monitor at home and at work, tablets, and LCD TV. I am not sure where to start. Would the Meterk ($26) do the job or something like yours Acoustimeter or a Trifield TF2 is better quality? When you can. Thank you.

      I'm not sure on that one, sorry. Maybe compare or just assume what you want to test has high EMF's and take the precautions.

    THANKS FOR THE INFO. Do you know which tv set, lcd, led, plasma or crt, would give off the least amount of radiation? I have a 27" led screen I just bought, but am concerned I should have kept my 15" lcd computer monitor due to emi. Is there a screen, radiation shiled that may mitigate that?

    • @Theartofunity
      @Theartofunity  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, see my blog about this at www.TheArtofUnity.com, search emf to see the shields available and other ways to protect yourself. I don't know which tv set gives off the least but assume they all do and don't put them close (3-5') to where you are sitting or sleeping.

    • @Theartofunity
      @Theartofunity  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I have read, led have the least EMF, the most are in the older big wide-back models. I would just make sure you're not sitting too close to it and that will be fine. Most people sit 15+ feet away from the TV, so it's not a big concern.

      same with these. Don't stand too close, use an earthing mat, take the supplements and be aware of it. I'm no so concerned about the TV since you don't put it on your lap and it's wired.

    Interesting vid, thanks for making it! I have to say I am concerned about EMF and have been for a while because I work with a graphics tablet literally in front of me for many hours a day. Wacom insist it is a 'weak radio signal' to power the pen but that doesn't exactly help... The only way I have detected the emf is from radio static which makes a similar sound to that of a flat tv screen, a constant high pitched whine. No real way to judge how dangerous it is. Think I might try and shield the underneath and ground the shield...

    • @Theartofunity
      @Theartofunity  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would try the shield and maybe get them to pay for it. Remember, a little bit over a long time is a lot. That's what everyone who offers toxins to our bodies says, "It's only a little bit." and yes, if it was just one time, it probably wouldn't matter. Good Luck Phi and best of health to you.
