Be careful Andrew : the pool is not a good place to be when it is hot .. 'Swimming in the pool can be a fun way to cool off on a hot day, but it's important to be aware of the potential dangers:
Dehydration
Warm water can cause you to sweat more, so you should drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. You might not realize how much you're sweating while swimming.
Rapid blood pressure drop
Hot water can cause your blood pressure to drop quickly, which can lead to dizziness or loss of consciousness. This is especially important to consider for more strenuous activities.
Heat-related illnesses
Swimming doesn't protect you from heat-related illnesses like sunburn, heat stroke, and exhaustion

We were there one August in 115 degree. The wind just made it hotter.

The hottest day in Las Vegas was 117°F on July 10, 2021, June 20, 2017, June 30, 2013, July 19, 2005 and July 24, 1942.
Just to add an note about your use of your LVA no resort fee for Downtown Grand isn't as good as it sounds. Phoned and got a good rate then mentioned the LVA deal and oops can't have that rate. so over a 5 night stay the difference was $60 still a savings but not the whole resort fee per night so worked out to $12 a night far cry from the $40+ a night keep up the great shows

for the Mirage It would make sense for the last day to be the 14th Sunday night midnight for the public then Monday the last day for workers then demo crew sets up and starts demo Tuesday morning.

I was in Vegas last year in July, and got to hang to Anthony & Andrew for live beer Friday. It was an awesome experience! But... Is was 115°, which means we did almost nothing outside. 😕

Anthony...any studies on these 1 dealer craps tables (live rolls and smaller tables)? Seems to be able to control spin on the dice...(yes I like to roll the dice and know the "stickman"
There've been some instances of sliding dice on the various new tables, then adjustments are made. If you're trying to control dice and seem to be successful doing it, they'll stop you. I'm not sold on the whole dice control thing, although there are people who can slide dice, which is considered cheating.
