I got it on Amazon. It’s Tee Luv Count Chocula very soft. Hope you get it. Was my favorite growing up also. They changed recipe not as good today as then.
We’re in Texas, and had a road trip to Tennessee the fall of 2021. Went to Hot Springs, Memphis, Hurricane Mills, and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Of all the restaurants we ate at, the Log Cabin was my favorite. And I remember either hearing or reading that Loretta would have their catfish delivered to her house. I had the roast beef. It was delish.
@@jbinthehills when we went to tour her house, one of the workers told us the Loretta Lynn restaurant was not run by the family. Research showed Log Cabin was the area favorite. That her son was there, is so cool. Too bad you missed him. Also on our tour, we were told she was home that day. It’s sad that when we return, she won’t be. 😢

It’ sounded yummy I’m a big meatloaf lover it’s a big time comfort food with ketchup and gravy of course sweet potato casserole and mashed right up my alley to my stomach! These places are like I went there I can taste them as I watch and what better way to go to all these restaurants and sample the food great videos guys! We don’t have good eateries around my home only the basic chains and you get tired of them wish we had buffets again! Only Golden Corral left

I ate there with my adoptive family when I was a child. I haven't been back yet, but I'll have to swing by there when I go on vacation!!! I remember the waterfall and buying postcards and getting pictures taken. I absolutely love the Smokey Mountains and being there is like living in another world. I remember the peacefulness every where we went and the air was always cooler, felt like a fairy tale. Thank You for bringing back great memories. By the way, the hiking trails all over the mountain is awesome, in case some people love to hike. Seeing the wildlife and black bears in the wild is something else. Rangers talking to campers about safety around the bears. Camping out with camp fire food and story time. There are a lot of awesome places to eat, and if y'all ever get the chance try some vinegar coleslaw. Done right, it's the best food ever!!!

If I ever get to leave my home again, I’d love visiting this place. Love the ambiance of it. I’d call it “cozy” for sure. The food looked good, and portions weren’t skimpy. I have a huge appetite, especially considering that I’m a small person. . .4’11” in stature. I like to say small and mighty, mighty small. I’m known in these parts for my meatloaf, which has caused men to blurt out marriage proposals once I’ve fed it to them. I actually took one guy up on his, and here we are 25 years after I put my meatloaf spell on him. A couple of comments: John, I liked that you used voice-over for part of this video. Sometimes the room noise in some of the places you visit is distracting. I love both the Count Chocula and Marilyn shirts. Both brought a smile to me. You’re an adorable couple! It’s apparent to me that you’re the best of friends. Ditto for me and my meatloaf-loving guy, Billy. I am a huge fan of Loretta, and am saddened that we lost her. She symbolizes to me the epitome of a strong, resilient woman. . .one who perseveres in both good and bad times. That’s what I aspire to be. . . We are doing this full time because they closed our factory down after Bobbie had 35 years in and me 20. It was the largest drug maker in the USA. 3000 of us lost our jobs. Took it overseas. We are trying this to see if we can make it on TH-cam. I needed 4 years and I could have retired. 😎😎

Here in texas I grew up with a log cabin restaurant it is a home cooking restaurant it had great food but unfortunately it is no longer their I thought they where gone enjoy it is good

Thanks for bringing back memories. I was traveling to Maumelle Arkansas for a Fall folage trip with my mother to go see my brother and his family for a week. We stopped there for the night. I had the best pot roast I have ever had with mashed potatoes and green beans. I said to my mother, there's something wrong with these mashed potatoes. She said that's because they left the skin on the potatoes. That was the first time I ever had mashed potatoes with the skins left on. We also had breakfast there the next morning which was delicious. I drove back to see how far it was to where you had to turn to go to Loretta Lynn's place. On the way home we stopped at Dollywood. Hey guy all that food in videos makes me hungry. I just wanted to let u know try this I use the recipe all the time. When I make meatloaf I mix in brown sugar to taste as much or as little. Then on top I put more brown sugar ketchup and bacon kinda wrap bacon around it try it let me know what you think
I'm not sure where to start with this awesome video and restaurant! First, laughed out loud at the Count Chocula shirt! I used to love that cereal so much. hehe I loved that old stove, the log cabin feel of Log Cabin Restaurant! The menu was terrific and those portions are HUGE and hearty! I would have picked the meatloaf too, I think, though I am disappointed it doesn't look like the picture (with the ketchupy top). I know there are two ways people love their meatloaf, but the non-ketchup type is great, but just not meatloaf to me. It is more salisbury steak. That aside, it looks humungous and the food and the sides look so fresh. And that sweet tea! Nothing better than in a jar and frozen cold! Thanks for always bringing us the best places and eating for us (gosh I am hungry!).
I have been to three different restaurants named the log cabin. In Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. They were all incredible. The one you guys were at looked amazing as well. Ty for the video.
We haven’t eaten breakfast yet and now we’re really hungry after watching y’all’s video. Everything looked great. The meatloaf in the skillet looked delicious and we’d love to try the spicy hush puppies. The mac and cheese looked really tasty too. We’ve never heard of this restaurant but it seems like a great place to eat.

We are doing this full time because they closed our factory down after Bobbie had 35 years in and me 20. It was the largest drug maker in the USA. 3000 of us lost our jobs. Took it overseas. We are trying this to see if we can make it on TH-cam. I needed 4 years and I could have retired. 😎😎

Great review! I didn’t know that restaurant was there and been to Loretta Lynn’s place a couple of times, lol! But we didn’t stop for lunch or anything. Have to go back and try this place, all of your food looked delicious! 😊

Here in texas I grew up with a log cabin restaurant it is a home cooking restaurant it had great food but unfortunately it is no longer their I thought they where gone enjoy it is good

Such a cute place! Love the looks of this restaurant. Lots of good home cooking choices on the menu. Never have seen meatloaf served in a skillet before. Great idea! That mac and cheese looked so creamy and delicious. The portions were big and everything looked delicious. Thanks for sharing this gem. Hopefully we will be able to try it out the next time we visit Loretta's Ranch.

Thanks for bringing back memories. I was traveling to Maumelle Arkansas for a Fall folage trip with my mother to go see my brother and his family for a week. We stopped there for the night. I had the best pot roast I have ever had with mashed potatoes and green beans. I said to my mother, there's something wrong with these mashed potatoes. She said that's because they left the skin on the potatoes. That was the first time I ever had mashed potatoes with the skins left on. We also had breakfast there the next morning which was delicious. I drove back to see how far it was to where you had to turn to go to Loretta Lynn's place. On the way home we stopped at Dollywood. Hey guy all that food in videos makes me hungry. I just wanted to let u know try this I use the recipe all the time. When I make meatloaf I mix in brown sugar to taste as much or as little. Then on top I put more brown sugar ketchup and bacon kinda wrap bacon around it try it let me know what you think

I'm not sure where to start with this awesome video and restaurant! First, laughed out loud at the Count Chocula shirt! I used to love that cereal so much. hehe I loved that old stove, the log cabin feel of Log Cabin Restaurant! The menu was terrific and those portions are HUGE and hearty! I would have picked the meatloaf too, I think, though I am disappointed it doesn't look like the picture (with the ketchupy top). I know there are two ways people love their meatloaf, but the non-ketchup type is great, but just not meatloaf to me. It is more salisbury steak. That aside, it looks humungous and the food and the sides look so fresh. And that sweet tea! Nothing better than in a jar and frozen cold! Thanks for always bringing us the best places and eating for us (gosh I am hungry!).
I like ketchup on Mt meatloaf too. I liked the Mason jars that they poured the sweet tea in. Very good comfort food. 😎😎
I have been to three different restaurants named the log cabin. In Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. They were all incredible. The one you guys were at looked amazing as well. Ty for the video.

We haven’t eaten breakfast yet and now we’re really hungry after watching y’all’s video. Everything looked great. The meatloaf in the skillet looked delicious and we’d love to try the spicy hush puppies. The mac and cheese looked really tasty too. We’ve never heard of this restaurant but it seems like a great place to eat.
