Might not be the best unboxing but you unboxed something pretty epic! 🎸
🤠🙌🎸
Nice. Do you know what is the difference between the RSA-65 and the RSA-75? I have also seen some with a trapeze piece and I wonder if it's hollow like a Casino or 330.
I think the difference is cosmetic. 65 I’m guessing based on the 60’s aesthetic and the 75 based on the 70’s aesthetic. I’ve actually got my eye on the walnut RSA-75 at the moment. So watch this space, one may end up on my channel in the near future…
Cooooool guitar 🎸
🤠
🤠🙌
Nick ,can I gig this out the box I have a gibson 335 that is worth abit and I'm not comfortable with taking it out anymore, I've a gibson classic and standard but I'm getting a bit paranoid since my band mates Cs strat got smashed by some idiot, iveseen these at hotrox
Hey Neil,
Yes you absolutely could gig with these straight out of the box. I made some mods to mine purely for personal preference and the fact that I like tinkering with my guitars.
@@nick_shaw_guitarist I think it's just guitar players in general sometimes we don't no when to leave we'll enough alone( me not you ) lol been there done that , I'm going to buy one factor in cost of harness pups tunners if needed still cheaper than a current 335 plus if it gets nicked it's not a 6000 pound guitar
I agree with you there! It’s too tempting to get the soldering iron out haha.
That’s great, let me know how you get on with it.
Hey Nick love the vid and the channel. I had a question I was wondering where ya got the guitar from and any advice on what a good or fair price point would be for one of these? I have a few burny Les Paul's from the early to late 80s and those in great shape tend to cost more even close to Gibson prices but their worth it in some instances. So I'm looking for something like the rsa65 to just play and enjoy but not cost an arm and a leg ya know thanks Nick keep making the awesome content kevin
Hey Kevin! Thank you for the kind words.
I got the Burny from Hotrox in the U.K.
The RSA65 is a guitar that you could take anywhere and not worry about. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as the old 80’s models but it is still a great guitar. Even without the upgrades that I did, which were really just for personal taste it is the perfect working man’s 335.
Cheers
Nick
@@nick_shaw_guitarist thanks for the awesome fast reply I really appreciate I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and get one because for the money and quality it's great deal Gibson just getting more and more expensive every year. I've even looked at the likes of tokai,Edwards,Orville,Greco, navigator etc and those brands like Edwards and tokai that are still making new models sadly have started to jump on the Gibson band wagon and have slowly been sky rocketing their prices as well. So thank you so much for your input sir and you and your channel will have a life long fan from here in Pittsburgh Pa
Yeah I have a couple of MIJ Tokai’s and the price of those have skyrocketed now.
Let me know how you get on with the Burny. And thank you for your support on the channel.
